What a laugh. The news networks have been fed a line by Rumsfeld on the forthcoming "please don't fire me" speech by CIA Director George Tenant (9:30am eastern).
Apparently he'll be telling "cool spy stories" as part of his justification for existence and rationale for rampant incompetence. Expect lots of "look where we got Lybia right" and "I told you Pakistan was bad" to be followed by "we still MIGHT find weapons of mass destruction..."
My analogy for the day: This is going to be like listening to a dead watch battery give a speech on the time it got the time right... and the other time.
Yes George "a stopped clock IS right twice a day" but you STILL need to REPLACE THE BATTERY!

Rumsfeld lied. I didn't hear any "cool spy stories."
Just the head of Intelligence giving his "objective" opinion that US Intelligence didn't fail.
Um, are we surprised?

I caught part of it. Nothing special. I think they should be getting credit for Libya - I could be wrong.
Tenet is afterall a Clinton left over - what should we expect
