Hey JJ, thanks for the blast from the past. I used to love that song! At least until my bartender and assistant manager made it their personal love anthem and played it ten times a night after closing. I think I ended up hiding the disc from them.

Now, what is this all about?

It was fun until I clicked on this one..

After it got through playing the little hop around game, it deleted my firefox theme, and completely logged me out of ATS...

That was not funny

I don't know. Old school trolling is supposed to make the other person look stupid for defending something that doesn't matter. The classic is the "James R. Kirk" troll. Simply clicking on a link to a video doesn't show how the clicker is an idiot or anything, so what's the point?

Kids these days just don't know the proper way to troll.

HAHA, great.

Rick Rolling is getting old, but I can't seem to get enough of that song. Rick Astley has my vote for president.

Rickrolling is so old. It only got like 3x as popular when 4chan claimed it. It's like claiming grass, no one made it but they say it's theirs. lol.

AWW JJ!

Saw the title and thought wow better read up on what rickroll is,believing I must of missed that class which explained what a troll was years ago and since whenever someone calls someone a troll here I study the post yet it varies from perspective and person,I wasn`t going to miss out on understanding this one.

So I clicked away,at first I was in deep confusion as to what the song and vid had to do with it,I told myself relax it`ll come,I relaxed and found myself rocking in the chair and bobbing my head to the music.

Then through away my concentration in study for the meaning of rickrolled, rolled back the chair and started making movements not unlike John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever

The Missus laughing at me and my dog looking confused.

I think I have been rickrolled?

You know, a good friend of mine is a member on that site, and this one, and claims he can only tell he's not on /n/ because there is less racism here!

Alright Jake! *shakes a fist*

To everyone else, here's the only way to undo the evil known as a RickRoll!

(P.S. Pay no attention to what he says about oxes at 0:48, and 2:46
)

That's odd. Firefox has always saved me from dealing with unwanted scripts like that. No bouncing pop-ups for me, or deletion of themes.

I'm sorry my friend, OP.

I think this is an absurd attempt to get people to click on a link and 'false advertising'.

If you think RickRollin' is lame, like I do, check out how lame this is.

Shame on you, shame on you.

Take care and Peace,
- Naz

First this thread, and then Family Guy. For everyone that doesn't watch, it was in the newest episode of Family Guy. If I wasn't at work, I'd try to find a link for it.
Where else is this song going to turn up!?

If you're talking about the original link, it should just go to YouTube, not one of the malicious links I've been chasing Vagabond around with.
