i have tried and failed to upload 2 anomalous images from a moon picture

source: www.history.nasa.gov...

Its a large image so i will have to explain where they are. Zoom required

o.k here goes.

1. At the top right corner of the crater you will notice a pipe like structure its very obvious when you zoom in.

2. At the 9 oclock position of the crater you will see a triangle shadow pointing down. zoom in looks like some more pipe work or structure.

if there are any image specialists out there please upload to the thread

steve

If you want the opinion of a specialist, ask John Lear. He can tell you really a lot about moon structures. Personally i have seen a lot of these pictures and heard loads of theories from John Lear on what these structures might be. Some of these are convincing, However, what is the use of discussing them if the world community doesn't bother about them

Nah, I dont see anything unusual at those spots. Remember, you will see whatever your brain wants to see. It's like images in the clouds. Beware.

So you want to see nothing.

here's the link to the main thread with Mr. Lear and friends showing and discussing pictures of your topic.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

You might even find what you've found already there, if not then those in that section will most probably help you out a bit too.

Hey guys check this out: Use Google Moon www.google.com... and find Apollo 16 and go right and down (5 O'clock) and you will see a small black box like a censor box. Zoom in and I think it's something airbrushed out....why?

I can't see the anomalies, but i can see that it is Marius Crater:
www.lpi.usra.edu...

Image Collection: 70mm Hasselblad
Mission: 12
Magazine: 52
Magazine Letter: S
Latitude / Longitude: 12.8° N / 50.3° W
Film Type: SO164
Film Width: 70 mm
Film Color: black & white
Feature(s): MARIUS

Maybe you think that it is Copernicus, since you've opened another thread here
www.abovetopsecret.com...
in which you call it Copernicus

Here you can take a look at it with Clementine image browser 2.0
www.nrl.navy.mil...
go to "tool panels"
select "lunar features"
choose "craters m-r"
select "Marius"
zoom in

Edit to add:
do you mean this one?

Internos,

Yep thats the one. Any Ideas?

In the image there are a number of anomalies. If you have the time take a look. There are aload at the 9 oclock position in that area. Look like vents and more pipework.

Its an interesting picture.

thanks alot

Steve, IMHO, it's a ejecta formation due to the impact which created the crater: i came accross to many such formations near the craters, here's another example:
www.lpi.usra.edu...

It would also explain the brighter appearance of the object you pointed (see the paper that i've linked).
The perspective and (the distance) of the photo you're referring to, does not help in order to assest its actual location (i mean, if it's on a edge of a smaller crater, for example: it looks to be so).
I suggest you to download this document from LPI:
www.lpi.usra.edu...
Hope this helps

And what about the other object? I still havent noticed it: could you somehow outline it?

Ok, it should be this one.

Frankly, i have no clue what is it, but its shape does not look geometric, nor symmetric, nor artificial to me, but that's just my opinion.

Besides, the perspective of the photo does not show clearly its shape, and it seems that there aren't top-view hi res photos in lpi archives (i'll check again).
About the shadow, the triangle could be a "random" effect because the light source is low in the horizon (take a look at the whole area). Sorry to not be helpful. If i'll find some other photos of Marius Crater, i'll post the here.
Anyway, thank you for sharing this pic
