Big League Media negotiation is indeed an area of expertise or experience.

If it helps, subject to quality of the "sample goods" we could probably easliy add an extra zero or two to the figure sought (I am aware he is not that naive to be serious about that amount if what he said was true!)

I have read the entire thread and so far seen nothing to suggest there is any substance but hey..... I choose to keep an open mind.

Approaching the big league players (called "A" in thread) or even second teir as a FIRST step was demonstrable naivity in the extreme!!!

Go down the list way down get say "M" leagues (independant doco producers or publishing houses) that would kill for what is claimed to be held. Get them hooked and bending over backwards for the "deal" then progressively work up. That is how promotion of a touchy high risk subject is handled. By the time you have "D leaguers" interested the "A" leaguers will be pounding on his door demanding first right of refusal contracts.

A professional could do this without dishonour or deciet and ensure the time and committment by say the " B-M 's" involved in the process is still valuable to them and they share in the big picture.

I was expecting the comment/reply "oh but we don't have the time or money to promote it ....."we are working on 25 other projects"

But again a professional could ensure that self generating funding ensures an full time promotion negotiation team is self funded by the project!

All this is subject to "quality and validity of the merchandise"

Intesest arises from a recent thread ... moved to Skunkworks !..... on the basis that there can be no proof offered!!!!

Now I enjoy occasional visits to this site. Fun is fine indeed enjoyable! But there IMO is a duty of care to the thousands of impressionable young adults & children who also look at threads like these.

What would you do with the proof/ solid evidence of ET existance on this planet?

Lock it up in a vault? Promote it to the world as a part time hobby?

Make value judgements for the whole planet, that it's "just not ready"?

WHAT I ASK would it hurt or harm if under a bonded NDA, if one external independant professional (not necessarily me) , saw enough to verify the value and authenticy of the claims and advised on strategy to bring it to market?

Note all media outlets so far have "passed" I gather from scant info in the thread for several reasons but one apparently indicated " not compelling enough"

I mean no malice or disrespect. If it is all about getting hit count up for advertisers then I say well done!!!!!!... but what about the kids ?

....it is getting very "smelly" the longer it goes!?

Our PR firm has this firmly in hand and we have the funding needed to do the docu if we end up needing to do it. What you don't know is there are other deals in the works our agent is working on that we will wait to resolve before we make that call.
WRT your "smelly comment" this thread wouldn't constitute .00001% (do some research in the "stats thread" ) of our traffic so "hit count" (worthless in today's web business anyway) is certainly NOT what's driving this.

Respectfully suggest you get PR company to advise you on how to build promo credibility!

you sound like you have all your "ducks line up in a row". and since i'm still a lowly newbie, i will assume that you have probably already got this covered. i remember reading about something important that happened in history in the 30's or 40's and the author along with verifiable proof, sent out a press release to 50 newspapers around the U.S. and only 1 actually printed the story because of it's volatle nature....as the say in computer tech talk...backup, backup, backup the information. and thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this. most of us do not have the money or the savvy to put something together like this.

Considering the "roller coaster" is only going about 1 mile an hour I'm not sure how exciting it's going to be, at least not until we get the media spots we want.

IF (and trust me it's a HUGE "if") we get the spots we want on the shows we want THEN it Will be exciting. We are convinced that the only way we are going to get the Prime Time exposure we know this needs is by being a much bigger "player" in the media world than we are right now.

We have several projects cooking right now to do just that, these will take time but I can say they are progressing nicely.

$200,000 ? for a documentary with Clifford's documents? Sounds outrageously high - doesn't need special effects and fancy anything - surely you can figure a way to do it for a quarter of that amount especially if people donate their time, or part of it
