Thanks for the clarification. I had been hoping there was at least some allusion to classified energy technologies in these documents - as the projects to bring those out also seem to be withering on the vine

I have to agree with Springer.

This thread is already a sticky topic - it won't disappear from the main page. Any updates will be obvious.

It's annoying to read impatient posts, almost demanding that something be done!

Here's a line from a Guns 'n' Roses song: "All we need is just a little PATIENCE..."

My main concern now is about the new energy technologies - if we turn up evidence of them, the last thing we should be doing is sitting on it!

But it seems that the documents don't pertain to them, as I had hoped, so.... sorry all

MrdDstrbr, if I may, a gentle jibe a your thought processes.

Springer said, in his last post:

They also irrefutably PROVE that there has been at least one totally bizarre object that came to ground, nobody knew what it was, and it was not, I repeat NOT of this Earth, and it was certainly manufactured or made/built, assuming we can believe what's said in a closed door, secure hearing before a select committee of the U.S. Congress.

(Emphasis mine)

Now it does not take too much of a stretch of the imagination to realize that a Manufactured object, undeniably originating somewhere Other Than Earth! and surviving a landing on Earth would likely, at least, intimate the enployment of energies (and their sources) in advance of even current known technology.

Think about this:

How did it get here?

Really, in the vastness of Space, and the incredible distance likely to exist between Earth and the next nearest planet harboring intelligent, technologically advanced life;

How did it get HERE without some form of propulsion?

If the Object is real, then the propulsion is real; if it is real it will exhibit evidence of its manufacture and operation.

Take Heart, Have Patience, Think like an Analyst.

Yeah, exactly, if "the government" are in possession of, what sounds like some kind of ET probe/scout ship, it only stands to reason that they've been busy back-engineering its energy and propulsion systems....

If ATS has proof of, or at least an evidence trail of this, I question the wisdom of sitting on it and trying to get the message out via MSM, who are completely and utterly corporate/military-industrial-complex controlled.....

But, whatever. PATIENCE! PATIENCE, MrdDstrbr!

The trail always goes COLD, DIES, ends at where the bloody things ended up. That's why we are being so patient and waiting for MSM attention, like I said, what we have is NOT "disclosure", it's what we hope will get enough people interested and annoyed to instigate disclosure.

Disclosure will be finding out where the objects end up (we have some very GOOD ideas but alas no evidence because they won't release it) and what became of them.

I'll give you an example of one of the several we have...

There is a case (and yes we have the documentary proof) where the US Air Force came to a man's house, retrieved an object that crashed through his roof and sent it to the advanced technology lab after telling him it was nothing but an meteorite. He sued the USAF to get it back after months of stonewalling and they said in open court they lost it.

Now think about that for a minute, first they tell the guy it's a meteorite and send it off to the Advanced Technologies Lab (why would a rock go to a Technology lab?) and promise he'll get it back. He wanted it back because he apparently believed it was worth lots of money.

While I understand meteorite fragments are worth money, this guy wasn't suing to get a fragment back he specifically called it an "object", never did he call it a meteorite and nor did he believe it to be one. Evidently the USAF didn't either because they sent it to a technologies lab not a geophysical or geological lab like ALL the other meteorites they've retrieved.

Now that still leaves the possibility of it being Soviet (this was back in the 1960's) space junk that reentered the atmosphere, but if it was obviously a man made object why would anyone try to pass it off as a meteorite? Why would they tell the guy he'd get it back? Why didn't they say it was a matter of National Security in court? I don't buy the Soviet space junk answer.

The point of the case I describe above is to show one of many, very many examples of the bullet proof methodology the Government has used for over 50 years to keep what it wants to keep from us permanently. All they have to do is simply say they lost something and the investigation ends. Well, that's not good enough for me.

There is NOTHING that was used even 20 years ago that could possibly have technology we need to keep secret. The ONLY honest reason for them to continue to hide these objects is National Security, and I don't believe ANYTHING man made that's 20+, much less 50+ years old can qualify. So, WHY are they continuing to deflect inquiry? Why do they continue to LIE about these things to Senators and the public?

If it's not U.S. or Soviet technology they are hiding, and I believe I've stated a decent case against that, WHAT IS IT?

Springer...

Another suggestion (Yeah, I know, MORE unsolicited "Advice" from the Peanut Gallery!)

Have you considered putting all this information and the team's conclusions in the form of a book?

If I'm not mistaken, you said that one of the big problems the MSM outlets you've approached had with the story is that they "couldn't figure out how to make the thing "visual" enough for their audiences".

A book would give you something to "hawk" on the various TV shows; in a format familiar to the media gate-keepers.

The book format would provide a couple of other benefits as well.

First, it would allow the documents to be distributed, in hard-copy, far beyond the fleeting electronic media; insuring that no concerted censorship program could simply wipe the digital memory.

Film is fleeting, the printed word endures.

Second, the print media still carries a certain "Cache of Veracity" that the electronic media never achieved and is rapidly abandoning. Given the controversial claims your finding will engender, that added degree of Truth provided by the printed word will go a long way toward ensuring that the word is spread.

And finally, publishing well-researched book on a highly controversial topic is a time-honored means of promotion.

ATS: Today the Internet, Tomorrow, the World!

ATS has already been cited by The New York Times as a legitimate news source with regard to the counterfeit Cisco router story.

Why not strike while the iron is still hot, build on that association, and maybe clear a place for AST on the NYT's "Best Seller" list with a book of our own?

As to finding a willing publisher, I might have some info for you.

Friend of mine has a book coming out this month, he was recently on NPR promoting it. The local CBS affiliate picked up on the story and did a piece as well. The book is being distributed through TARGET stores, so mom & pop middle-America will be able to learn all about orbital airships.

Yes my friend this thread is still alive and I still response to questions. I have been very busy lately, but this weekend I will attempt to answer some of the questions posed on this site. My granddaughter will have graduation next week from High School and she is Valedictorian of her class. It took us 30 years to get my daughter out of Vietnam, so my granddaughter, Huyen has been here for only 5 five years. Needless to say I love my granddaughter very much and I am so very, very proud of her. She could not speak a lot of English when she arrived in this country 5 years ago, so she has come along way. When my draughter, son-in-law and grand children came here, I never through I would grow as close to them as I have. But, if you knew this family you would understand why I love them so much and why I am so proud of all of them. I will attempt to stay in touch over the internet while away. I will try not to stay away so long again.

God Bless,

Cliff

C'mon guys

Surely there comes a time when you need to concede and admit that the MSM really couldn't give a toss about what you have.

If they did value what you had then you would have already got your deal right?

Or maybe the MSM does not consider newsworthy your hard-earned, well-researched, solid documented evidence that proves that the government has been lying to it's people for 50 years or more about the possibility that life may exist elsewhere other than Earth?!

Enough is enough.

You do realise that some ATS members will be feeling that you are acting in exactly the same way as the people you are trying to expose, i.e. you are keeping the evidence to yourself.

I don't really give a toss if you think I am being rude or awkward, the simple fact of the matter is: you should have kept your mouth shut until you actually had an MSM outlet lined up for distribution.

In hindsight you are probably wishing you had done this. What have you actually achieved by letting everyone know that you are not going to tell them anything?

Your fantastical announcement has done nothing but infuriate and annoy some members although I am sure it wouldn't have done your viewing figures any harm considering the number of flags and stars this empty post has been awarded.

And for the patient folk here on ATS who have nothing but admiration for this merry dance, all I can say is well done. Your patience and pleasure at being held in stasis while the quest for truth moves on is a testament to all that is wrong with the lack of democracy and sharing of knowledge for all of mankind.

Bravo.

Easy there, Pilgrim!

The MSM is composed of very large corporations, which are absolutely loathe to do anything they don't have to, quickly: Far too many "Glutteuses" to cover cover for that sort of thing.

And big corporations , like all MSM's are not too quick to recognize the value of anything they haven't already researched to death: see CYA, above.

Their motto is almost always: "Resistance Is Normal"

That being said, the mature, adult thing to do is to excersize an appropriate amount of patience: appropriate, say, relative to the scale of the topic at hand.

Which is truly HUGE!!

And no, I for one have not been sitting quietly on my hands, contributing, as you allege to "the problem": I've offered,

Not demanded,

Not threatened,

merely offered the Team any assistance I might be capable of, in the spirit of cooperation and commraderie.

Patient persistence often pays big dividends.

Lo Bhadhidar

Just feeling a little miffed my friend

Here is how I see it:

Having been unsuccessful with the A-list MSM, ATS is now at the stage where they are talking to the B-list MSM.

That is great.

So when ATS works it's way though the alphabet of crap-list MSM outlets will they then decide to give the scraps to the members of ATS?

You know the ones: the Z-list part goers who are there to make up the numbers? Rent-a-crowd right?

The vibe I am getting: ATS is more concerned that they give the evidence to the masses - the masses, that is, who delight in mocking the conspiracy community: ufologists, believers and the members of ATS et al.

ATS should be more committed to the people who care, the people who believe, the people who refuse to hide away and play ball with society because to not do so would mean you were mad, a leper, an oddball.

ATS should be more committed to the people that have made ATS the success that it is.

I feel like a shareholder in ATS and I am sure that there are many others who feel the same. I would have worked extra hours in order to make some money to donate to ATS to pay for Springer's plane ticket to get the evidence had the option been there.

I, like most other members, actually really give a damn when it comes to ATS and by keeping Us out of the loop feels like a huge kick in the balls.

Followed up by some nipple-twisting.

If the evidence is substantial enough to create a solid story it will spread like wild fire and the whole planet will know about it.

A-list MSM will be banging on the doors of ATS with a fistful of dollars wanting access to all of the original evidence.

Everyone's a winner.

I have got to say that I support what Skibtz is saying here. I've been following this from the beginning and the first thing I do each time I log-in; is to check the status of this thread - suffice to say it is as frustrating as hell when there appears to be no movement! On the flip-side I can see the need to play one's cards close to one's chest however; comes a time when one needs to go all in and lay those cards down!

Perhaps that is because these "Main-streamers" are precisely the great mass of people we need to "convert", to rile up enough about how their government has been lying to them for no purpose other than, perhaps, to keep revelutionary new technologies from making Their lives better.

"Preaching to the (ATS) choir" is not a very effective means of expanding the "Congregation".

Exactly why I proposed that the ATS Team assemble their evidence (those FOIA documents) and their findings/conclusions into the form of a book, which could then be "hawked" to the various MSM outlets.

The "Author Peddling his Latest" is a tried and true format (Think what Oprah's Book Club has done for example) and one that the MSM has established presentation precedents for: it's "familiar" and manageable.

I'd even go so far as to suggest as a "reward" loyal ATS'ers, that, if such a book were to be compiled, perhaps the ATS management could offer it as a free "E-book" download to any member registered BEFORE a given date.

How's THAT for a Premium?

But things take time, a commodity few of us have much of.

There has been at least one ATS item orchestrated by the ATS Choir that has been published in one of the most-read newspapers in the UK.

8 million people in the world would have read that article on one day and that is newspapers only - it does not include the number of people who would have read the article on their website.

Some people may say that the newspaper is a bit of a rag - well 8m+ people read it each day and they are the masses we need to communicate with right?

Exactly why I proposed that the ATS Team assemble their evidence (those FOIA documents) and their findings/conclusions into the form of a book, which could then be "hawked" to the various MSM outlets.

While I would be buying any ATS book, and recommending to all my friends and family that they should, I doubt ATS would be able to sell a book that reaches an audience of 8m people per day.

The other aspect to ATS releasing a book would be that people would be suspicious and it could be viewed that ATS is commercialising, and in the process trivialising, itself and it's content.

But things take time, a commodity few of us have much of.

Now we couldn't agree more on this point.

Even more reason why the evidence should be thrust in the public domain now - not waiting for some element of the MSM to do a shabby job pushing out a cheesy hour-long segment at a crappy slot that only those on the graveyard shift would appreciate!

Additionally, what is actually happening here is that we are giving any rogue element of the government time to disappear this evidence and discredit it's holders and sources.

A flagrant disregard for true disclosure in my opinion.

I just hope that ATS is not just waiting for it's moment of TV glory. Now that would be a sad state of affairs.

Know this my friend, these documents have been available to all who have crossed my door way. This includes many well known so-called UFO researchers. All that many wanted was my life story. I AM NOT IMPORTANT, THE DOCUMENTS ARE! Team ATS saw the documents and immediately realized their importance. The documents are in a vault, where they will stay. I have talked to my Granddaughter and have told her more then anyone about my life and UFO's. If I should die, she will get all of my files. I have told her the names and showed her the pictures of Team ATS. I have told her these documents are important and these people will know what to do with them and I know, in my heart they will not use her as many have use me. I TRUST TEAM ATS WITH MY LIFE! I know they will do the right thing with these documents. Therefore, I have asked my Granddaughter to trust them, also. Something I would not do if I felt they would only use her. Make no mistake, my Granddaughter is my life, as is my daughter. If I felt, in any way Team ATS would try in any way to use them, I would not tell them to trust these people as I do. These documents will see the light of day. But I agree with Team ATS, that it must be in a responsible manor. My Granddaughter will never talked abo0ut those things, I have shared with her, but she will co-operate with Team ATS. Team ATS knows what the documents indicate, what impact they will have as a whole. Therefore, They better then anyone know their release in the manor in which they must be release. The release must be in a responible manor and Team ATS will make this happen. I trust them fully and I will continue to co-operate with them as requested. When this release is made as Team ATS wants, your waiting will not be a disapointment.

God Bless,

Cliff
