An ode to the wind

She entered my life as a quiet breeze
A gust that drove me to my knees

Set apart from the typical rest
She blows east when the current moves west

Behind this air is a juniper trail
An aroma to lure the innocent male

Blowing gentle love in my ear
Confabulations me tear

Caught in an updraft of delight
Our love always a flight
