lol...these guys tried before last year with a 1951 Chevy pickup and they didn't make it.

why do they come? because they are the only ones who are guaranteed the right to stay here once they step foot on American soil...plus the fact that most of Cuba is already here in Miami.

oops, i got my cars wrong

Makes me sad. I do not know what kind of place Cuba is, but we need to do something about it.

You would think that if they had enough money to buy both of those cars that they would just buy a boat. To each their own.

You fill any car with enough ping pong balls and it becomes a "boat".

Excellent point Jackal...

[sarcasm] How intriguing that people are clamoring to get into such a horrible, backward, third world nation like amerika...
I mean Cuba is communist... it's gotta be a utopian paradise![/sarcasm]

Sorry, I just had to do that....

Cuba is not communist, nor has there ever been a truly communist country. Every country that has been called Communist has actually been a Socialist Dictatorship - the Communist economy is controlled by the people - not one person, not a government of a chosen few, the people ARE the government. In that regard, you could say America has become very much a Socialist Dictatorship (everything is controlled by the chosen few - they just make you think that we as a people can make a difference) with Democratic qualities. Go read the Communist Manifesto - you will find that there has never been a truly Communist country. Not that I am promoting Communism or anything - there are many things not to like about it. But, there are also many things to like about it. Go get a copy.
Anyways, what do I know? I am but just one small fish in a very large pond.

Communism sounds good on paper but has a real bad track record in the real world kinda like welfare. The idea behind it is not totally bad but just does not work with human nature.

The bad thing about people is that NOBODY does much of anything that does not benefit themselves. For better or worse thats what made america

I smell a movie script here! Image that could be an exciting story, sharks, big waves, getting this thing in the water before being caught, making it... cool.

Yeah Cuba is desparate place. A big investment to take one of their cars and cut it up in order to get out.

Thanks, not to be rude, but DUH.

Better than reading Marx, any person under a rock who has not read "Animal Farm" should probably just read that.

It's much more interesting anyway.
