The moon tonight has what appears to be a star very close to it.

I have never seen a star that close because of the light the moon produces may block the light of the star?

It looks to be about a rulers length away from my view.

Any ideas?

I had trouble when I got to the part to choose the objects. I made it through finding the latitude and longitude alright, but I must have missed a clue.

Looks like a great site could you tell me how to it I want to see the moon?

Great shots. That is pretty much how it looks. I just don't remember seeing another light source so close to the moon before.
