ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Instead of highlighting New Mexico's picturesque desert landscapes, art galleries or centuries-old culture, a new tourism campaign features drooling, grotesque office workers from outer space chatting about their personal lives.

The 30-second TV spots — which lead in roundabout fashion to the tag line that New Mexico may be "the best place in the Universe" — are provocative, funny and bold.

THis PC world is getting out of control. The ads are funny, spot on, and mirror many of our beliefs in UFo's and the like. Critics feel that the adds should target bommers and NOT the younger crowd. However, given New Mexicos place in the UFO world why not use it?

precisely and thats why the aliens keep coming...new mexico is the greatest place in the universe....well upper new mexico not so much where i live unless you like the smell of dairys.
