Last night I officially bought my dream car.

A 1963 Chevy Impala convertible.

I just got back from cruising it down Sunset boulevard with the top down.

I still feel like I'm dreaming.

Somebody pinch me.

Cheech and Chong would be proud!

Okay, I am a little envious just because you can drive down sunset with the top down. The air stinks and it is cold here in Ohio.

Must be nice to cruise in that baby...
Just curious, what tunes do you crank up while driving a car like that?

Haha, sweet pic Dude.

Which came first the car or the cap?

Or matching caps, should I say!!
to your matching cuteness!!

P.S. The above statement was made in a very manly bonding kind of a way!!

P.P.S I'm watching far too many queer eye re-runs!!

P.P.P.S I'm worrying myself now!!

I smell what your getting at.

Actually the cap came first and the car just happened to match.

Oh and to answer you question AD, The radio doesn't currently work, but when it does I'm sure I'll be playing a little bit of everything from The Doors to Pearl Jam to Dr Dre. Just Depends on the mood

I plan to later down the road. First I need to get seatbelts installed and the carbeurator needs to be rebuilt, and I want to put a newer radio in at some point. I just spent all my cash on the car so the rims will have to wait...... for now.

That's it, I'm in love, please excuse myself while I have a cigarette. The deep maroon is boffo. Don't mind the wet spot. Fohgettabout the carb rebuild, go for a tidy Holly aftermarket, depending on how much gas you want to use. I had a rochester quadrajet on mine, if I got over 8 mi a gallon it was a good day.

That's awesome. I can't wait until I get to splurge on my dream car. It'll be a few years, but it will be worth the wait. You know how that goes.

Have fun with that weather too. Ohio is cold and wet this time of year.

VERY VERY wicked Kleverone!!

That is the epitome of cool and laid back.
Now i could cruise in that ALL day long. Now the last classic i rode in was my uncles 1969 Mustang 351 Boss which was also "tuned" lol - WAY too wicked for a cruise unless you are on a runway hehehe

Now i would love the power of a V8 in a car like that. The radio would be secondary to the sound of that motor! I recon it becomes like the tail wagging the dog.
