Surprise on Idol-type show - Britain's Got Talent

Here is a video clip that is apparently from an American Idol show. ...Can't tell when it originally aired, does anyone recognize it?

Actually there are 2 video clips on that screen. Scroll down the screen a bit to see where to click on the 2nd clip. It's also very good, but the 1st clip is still my favorite.

Correction: It's not from American Idol... what fooled me is that Simon Cowell, the famous judge from American Idol, is on the judging panel. The show is called Britain's Got Talent.

I remember that well... the looks on the judges faces is absolutely priceless. Still gives me goosebumps when i watch it.

That was only the audition though here is the semi final and the final where he won. Is great to watch this sequence from the beginning to the end.
