Abstract: Work performed on Contract Number F08606-76-C-0011 has been reported in detail in a series of ten technical reports. This final report
summarizes the material covered in each of the technical reports and discussed the conclusions obtained. The four tasks in the program included the
following: Evaluate available data from the Iranian Long Period Array (ILPA) and the Seismic Research Observatories (SRO), and evaluate the detection
capability of the Korean Seismic Research Station (KSRS) using an optimum seismic detector; Evaluate the detection capability of a global seismic
network of arrays, and determine the effectiveness of an adaptive beam forming algorithm as a short- period (SP) detector applied to off-line beam SP
KSRS data; Determine the improvements in long-period signal estimation by cascading previously developed techniques; and Evaluate the discrimination
capability of an expanded interactive graphics system for the PDP-15 computer.
