Google Earthing around the general area, I found a crane-like structure at
N36.78055 W116.24362
I say crane-like because it appears to have an aviation paint job. Perhaps it is a tower and due to how satellite photos are "computer flattened", it looks tilted. There are three defunct airstrips at the location.

Area 25 (Jackass Flats) is considered inactive, though they do clean up contamination from time to time.

Note that the new and undocumented runway at the NTS, located at
N36.92744 W116.00784
would have the designation BTY064036. There is what appears to be a twin Beech there.
