I for one never said it was a flying turkey. I stand by my original hypothysis / analysis:

Guys, guys, guys. That's not a flying turkey.
It's obviously flying mashed potatoes and gravy.

Well Ok. There may be a bit stuffing in there as well!

I think that the stuffing would have somehow come out during liftoff..

I say turkey NO stuffing..

The stuffing was Element 115. And croutons. The precise ratio is necessary for controlled antigravity flight.

Thanks for the info, but with all respects, the original poster (in a later post) said the OP was a "picture of a picture", so that camera info will tell us nothing about the original.

Not to put down this pic or anything, but it is MY belief that the clearest shots ever taken were by Eduard "Billy" Meiers! But that's my opinion. OH and don't forget the NASA UFO VIDEO and pics too. My man John Lear has described many moon photos that are.....well, out of this world!

My thoughts were of the turkey as well. However, in a more serious vein, it looks kind of like either a parachute from a bailed-out pilot, or a siege blimp that has been shot up to get it out of the way. Maybe it is a turkey, though. Andy

If you are asking the general ATS population if this picture is the clearest ever, then allow me to voice my own opinion.

    No.

Even if it is a fake, it's not even the clearest fake UFO picture ever!

Yeah, he took some pretty clear photos, although he also had some problems with contrast ratios.

OK, I'll resist all the flying turkey jokes....it'll be hard but I'll do my best.

Apart from it looking very fake, (which I'll sidestep for the moment) one thing does catch my eye on this. We are lead to belive that whoever is flying the aircraft (that looks rather old, although I freely admit to knowing sod all about aircraft)has a thing that looks like a giant flying frozen turkey next to his plane. So what is is looking at??? Certainly not the alledged UFO.

Now you see, if this was me, I wouldn't take my damn eyes off that thing... So thats one serious point against it already for me. Secondly the grain looks too consistant with that produced by the photoshop plugin 'alien skin exposure' to me. Its looks to be trying too hard to cover up problems with the composite. It also looks like there is a bit less grain on the 'craft' athough without a larger image its hard to tell.

It looks like someone has tried to add a craft and simply faded back the layer a bit in photoshop crudley. So I'm going to say this one is a bit of a'turkey'.
Damn! I know I couldn't last without at least one turkey joke... I'll probably get 'gobbled up' for that now..

So in my view, its fake, just to many things that raise my eyebrows indicating 'problems' with the photo. No provenance and very suspicious who ever passed this onto the op.

The 'clearest'? no... a bit of a turkey really

    Wayne...

I refer you to this line Sir:
  • Y/Cb/Cr Positioning (Subsampling) = co-sited / datum point (2)

This clearly points to Flying Mashed Potatoes And Gravy! Do you not see it? ----datum point (2)?

Is this supposed to be the famous Wedding Cake Ship?

If so, I cry BS, as this is clearly the Infamous Pumpkin Pie Ship!

Hmmm..... I am starting to vaguely suspect the use of a photo editing program!

    ...mmmm... Pumpkin Pie....

    I agree with you 100%.

I hate misleading topics and if it's the clearest UFO picture ever, it better be the clearest UFO picture ever (or at least very close to the best image of a UFO ever).

This UFO [or turkey] or whatever it is, may be close, but it's hard to distinguish it and it doesn't look like a typical ET UFO either, so it's probably something explainable but it's hard to tell what it is exactly.
