George Bush's grandfather bankrolled Hitler

"In 1942,the New York Times Tribune dubbed grandfather Senator Prescott Bush,'Hitler's angel',for his treasonous banking role in financing and arming the Nazis.That profit began the Bush fortune."

George Bush's grandfather bankrolled Hitler-if this is true then why am I not that suprised?
Any further information about the statements authenticity (or factual innacurracy) would be most welcomed.
