Hi, pleased to meet you.

Very interested in urban astronomy - the observable universe with the naked eye under city lights - and a big prehistory buff.

Moderately interested in other people's opinions of the spirit, though fairly happy following my own path.

Always working hard to keep an open mind but stubbornly independent minded. Very tolerant of and excited by people who chase down and dredge up new ideas.

Reasonably astute at spotting and tuning out those old memes that have been following our thoughts through history cluttering up our perspective.

Signed up a couple of weeks ago.

Have a great deal of trouble ignoring Mr. John Lear, so I've finally decided to join ATS with an eye to wade in when I have something relevant to add. I don't expect to be too too too active in the forum but hopefully will be able to contribute some useful perspective.
