KTK can you elaborate on the ocean shores thing?

DaRage, It's a bit late to complain about Boat People. They;ve been flooding in for over 200 years. Get some historical perspective, the sooner all the races blend the better imo.

great post Shar_Chi, I totally agree with you. For example, the Vietnamese boat people from the 1970's have now almost totally assimilated, their kids all have thick Aussie accents, and many of them contribute to this country by operating successful business'.

Back on topic, from next year Woomera is going to be used as a rocket base to transport people and goods to the ISS, replacing the shuttle from 2010. Once Woomera starts being used as the ISS resupply base it may not be the most secret place in the world.

Shar_chi, just google and do an ats search for nugan hand bank. Its quite a good tale with many dodgy characters. I actually first heard about it on abc radio as a bloke had written a book about it.

I think area 52 is the airspace above Woomera, it's shown on this map, and this map.

At an AURA (Australian UFO Research Association) meeting in 2006,
we were given testimony by a person who worked at Woomera several
decades previously (?1957?), that they had observed UFO or OVNI lights
accompanying rockets in flight by way of the theodolite they
were operating. Their job was to track and record rocket flights.

These same lights came down around the Woomera area guard gates
and entrance way. The person stated the lights were definitely
not human made and not controllable by the military/scientists
at Woomera.

The person was taken to a room, interviewed by two men in dark
black suits, with non-descript accents, and told to remain silent
about the matter and the Secrecy Act.

It is quite possible/probable that the UFO's were flying about
to caution any Nuclear Nazies/Commies about the danger and
folly of developing missiles from which to lob nuclear terrorist
weapons at nearby Asia or elsewhere.

The person who gave the testimony decided to go public on the
matter since any previous bosses were probably deceased.

Interestingly, even though this person was close to 80 years
old, the person is in remarkably good shape, a testimony to
Good Health, and even claimed to work as a security person
associated with state officials, as a bodyguard, escort or
advisor.

I am currently working here in Woomera and was escorted out to Range E. We were told not to go anywhere near Hanger 5 which is gaurded 24 7. I know that the Australian Federal Police are relocating about 70 people and their families here on top of the 25 or so AFP people that have already been moved here.

Rumour around town is that there is something TOP SECRET happening at Hanger 5, but know one knows what.

It all seems a little sus to me. Maybe they are just testing new technology or a technology that may have landed in the desert up here. Who knows.

I look at the sky every night, but have not spotted any strange lights, but if you were to spot anything strange in the sky Woomera would be the place that you would see it.

I was looking through something my dad had written sometime ago...and here is what I found... My dad's job at Woomera was Joint Defense Space Communitcations Station (JDSCS), he was the Units XO. "The site could not be seen except from the air because it lay in a huge depression-an ancient dry lake bed."

"The unclassified mission of JDSCS was "deep space communications."

My father passed away a couple of years ago- he had burned his orders some years before-I remember most of them were stamped Secret and above.

And for the people calling Australia as the most ignorant country in the world have you actually travelled anywhere besides the keyboard attached to your computer. I personally feel Aussies are far more educated and open minded then many people I have met. Or maybe thats just the people I know?

Hear, Hear!

I second the motion!

Well said mate! Generalizations of Aussies gives me the sh*ts! We have it together as a nation better than most of the other usual suspects. I know where I'd prefer to live if I have a choice between the US, the UK and AUS.

What a no brainer!

Shadow - I am really interested in this. My father was also at Woomera (the space command) from 1976-1978. Given how tiny Woomera was, we probably knew each other. Everything was top secret, my father never talked about ANYTHING. He died 11 years ago after retiring from the USAF - no cause of death. I never thought about it as being overly odd but a new friend who is all about UFOs has me wondering just what was going on in Woomera.

I hate replying to a four year old thread.

In light of the fact that I see little to almost nothing online about Woomera... and yet I have information from what appears to be an insider about Woomera, I feel that maybe some of the information I'm getting from my source may in fact be true and valuable (i.e., he is obviously not rehashing stuff he read online)

In short, yes, there are ET craft stored there. Those craft used to be housed in the Groom Lake complex. Also some terrestrial made gravity based craft (man made "ufo"s if you will) are housed there.

The purpose of one of those man made craft is to escape the earth's atmosphere in the event of meteor impact or nuclear war, etc. It is in fact the craft responsible for the phoenix sighting of 1997.

Other man made "craft" like that are used to fetch UFO's that we disable as they penetrate the ionosphere, before they hit the ground. Australia is where they are taken.

From this same source I have also come to learn that there are a number of deep sea ET bases, the largest one off the coast of Greenland. Maybe there is some connection with the airplane that lost a nuclear bomb somewhere in that area (and the bomb was never found)

According to my source, Edgar Fouche was basically telling the truth about TR-3 series craft, but had some facts mixed up: He was mistaken to say that the TR-3B was the triangle one. Apparently this is the boomerang shaped one seen in Arizona and used as a survival ark.

There is also supposedly a TR-3C craft which is capable of cloaking. Finally a TR-3D craft, which has the familiar lenticular shape.

I can provide no proof and feel free to disregard my post. I cannot pass this as fact. But I pass it as circumstantial information that can be crosschecked with other information.

Don't worry about that at all. You've added some stories, which is cool.

If you can, keep pumping your source for more info!

Thanks for the read.

My father worked in Woomera for 6 months around 56,57 and he mentioned witnessing the mushroom clouds after the blast from 100 mile away and how the British army sent Aboriginal men into pickup the testing equipment to the disgust of all that were there, but never any mention of UFO's or strange lights

With regard to SG-1-9er's comments on page 2 of this thread:

I don't know anything about the woomera base, but the are two bases that you should have a looking at, here are some google maps links.

North West Cape

Pine Gap

Also this blacked out spot in alice springs looks a bit strange to me

Have a closer look at the North West Cape military base on Google Earth. Once you've maneuvered the main building/structure so that it sits at the center of the map, zoom out until you can see the entirety of the facility's layout.

It's a 2D representation of a double-star tetrahedron. Also see this image.

This is hugely significant mathematically, and in context with sacred geometry, fractal systems, etc. Mathematics and fractal geometry are universal languages, and possibly one of the ways intelligent life-forms have attempted to communicate with us in the past.

Hi

Came across a very good Australian website with comprehensive details of a search through the Australian Government National Archives' UFO files. There are lots of references to Woomera in the material.

Website is at disclosureaustralia.freewebpages.org...

Enjoy.

Funnily enough I heard something about Woomera today after telling my mother in law about this thread.
My mother in law was telling me that back around 64 years ago when she was a young girl - she would fly in a small plane from Adelaide to Alice Springs and the plane would either re- fuel or pickup/dropoff at Woomera. Long before the plane would land at Woomera the passengers had to roll the blinds down in the plane and were not allowed to have them up or look out the windows whatsoever. She also mentions about a german mother and daughter stayed at her grandmothers place for a period of time prior to them moving to the Woomera Base for the mother to work as a cook. They kept in touch sometime after the move by mail. Apparently the german mother and daughter died at a young age maybe from the exposure to the toxic waste dumping in the area.
