Archivist's Notes: The witness, farmer C.A. Poindexter described the object as "bright as a star". The conclusion states it a meteor with no explanation. This report refers the reader to incident 310 or 318 for the original report, the number is slightly illegible. Documents are fair, but you can piece together most details of the sighting through the 5 page record

blue-green object travelling west reported by a farmer in alberquerque, new mexico on 30 april 1949. sighting only lasted 2 seconds and the object just 'went out'. it was as bright as a star and concluded to be a meteor.

it is a standard reporting form and questionnaire document
