Archivist's Notes: The witness, farmer C.A. Poindexter described the object as "bright as a star". The conclusion states it a meteor with no explanation. This report refers the reader to incident 310 or 318 for the original report, the number is slightly illegible. blue-green object travelling west reported by a farmer in alberquerque, new mexico on 30 april 1949. sighting only lasted 2 seconds and the object just 'went out'. it was as bright as a star and concluded to be a meteor.
