Bill on sanctions against Russian companies submitted to U.S. Congress

en.rian.ru

Russia and Iran concluded a contract in late 2005 for deliveries of Tor-M1s. Tor-M1 is a high-precision missile system designed to destroy manned or unmanned aircraft, as well as cruise missiles flying at an altitude of up to 10 kilometers (6 miles). Russia subsequently supplied 29 Tor systems to Iran for $700 million.

Syria, a long-time client of Russia's defense industry, accounts for up to 4% of Russia's annual arms sales, which totaled a record $6.1 billion last year.

Five congressman are part of this bill. This is getting pretty interesting, the U.S. cries about everything when they don't get their way... the damage is done, and they're trying to prevent the flow of these jets maybe. This clip is from the additional news links:

According to an October 23rd report by Russia’s Kommersant, “Iran has signed a contract with China for the delivery of two squadrons of J-10 fighter planes…Representatives of the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company said China would deliver the total (24 jets) in 2008-2010. Engines for the jets will be supplied by Russia…estimating one fighter at $40 million, put the contract’s value at $1 billion.”

I wouldn't trust anything from en.rian.ru

It's been used plenty of times on ATS, everything printed has turned out to be false.

Unless you can prove this bill does exist (via another source), i wouldn't buy this story. It's BS.
