Here's hoping that this doesn't lead to a blow up (figuratively and literally) in the region. But it is disturbing to see them continuing forward with this plan when the international community is screaming for them to come to the table.

Iran is lead by a fundamentalist who feel's the final war is coming and the return of the Messiah, or the Mahdi (in Islam). Now you see why Iran will not come to the table.

What do Iran, the United States and Israel have in common? All are lead by leaders who think the final war is coming. A DANGEROUS mix.

I don't know if there is evidence to support the claim that US or Israeli leaders have embraced some eschatological view of foreign policy. If they did, that would be bad. But I haven't heard any evidence for it.
