Zorgon had found this wonderful news earlier today and posted it in one of the John Lear threads. I decided it would be best to create a new thread
and share this great news with the rest of you.
Famed NASA Astronaut confirms Extraterrestrials are Here
Printed in The Canadian
Thursday 15. Nov 2007
by Clark C. McClelland, former ScO, U.S. Space Shuttle Fleet,
KSC, Florida 1958 to 1992
Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-80 took a crew of five astronauts into a 17 day, 15 hour and 54 minute mission around the earth, the longest flight
in the history of this vehicle. During this lengthy flight a very strange event occurred that even had crewman Dr. Story Musgrave unable to explain
what he observed from the shuttle windows.
A large disc shaped object appeared below the Columbia. The shuttle was approximately, 190 Nautical miles high.
The disc was first observed to miraculously appear from out of nowhere, flying through the clouds below and progressing from right to left as the
astronauts stared in utter amazement. The outer rim of the craft appeared to be rotating counter-clockwise. It was very large (compared to common
space junk and breakaway ice), approximately 50 to 150 feet in diameter.
There seems to be more and more articles coming to light... I think we are in for a wave of disclosures and sighting reports...
A further quote in the article...
During an earlier interview, Dr. Musgrave stated he attempted to communicate with ET life forms during each of his six missions. He actually asked
them to take him with them. Now that's an astronaut with a lot of courage. Dr. Musgrave retired after this flight from NASA. Since then he's been
spreading his considered opinion that alien life exists. When Musgrave speaks of this, it's no great leap for one to assume he's admitting knowledge
of alien life. As the final slide of a "Grey" ET was shown during a recent astronomy presentation by Dr. Musgrave, he made this surprising comment:
"These guys are real... I guarantee it!" Dr. Musgrave does know the truth. This author guarantees it!

Too good to be true?
Dr. Musgrave stated he attempted to communicate with ET life forms during each of his six missions. He actually asked them to take him with
them. Now that's an astronaut with a lot of courage.
He is indeed brave
More power to the people who bring up things like this, especially current and former astronauts!!

So if he asked the aliens to take him with them he not only observed them but was in contact with them which makes this even more amazing.
As much I would like this to be true and another step towards disclosure the pragmatist in me thinks where is the evidence and supporting testimonies.

WOWOW Good find. You know i think things are gonna happen over the enxt few years. I was discussing UFO's and ailen life and interdimensional
beings at work today. What was amazing was that noone laughed or s'n-word'ed. It seems that discussing this topic is less taboo now in public and
becomming accepted. I've noticed that more ordinardy members of the public ie an unscientific random sample of people at work openly admit to
beleiving in ET and the existence of UFOs

It is very exciting to see where this is going to take us. It would appear that because of the recent attention in the media that this is getting and
the recent press conference that it has broken the Ice and we may be seeing more and more people come forward that have big credentials.

from a couple of other famous "astronauts"
“A supernatural apparition was seen, too amazing to be believed. What I am now to relate would, I imagine, be dismissed as imaginary, had this not
been vouched for by eyewitnesses, then followed by subsequent disasters that deserved to be thus signalized. For before sunset chariots were seen in
the air over the whole country, and armed battalions speeding through the clouds and encircling the cities.”
Josephus, "Jewish War" Book CXI
In the sky appeared a vision of armies in conflict, of glittering armour. A sudden lightning flash from the clouds lit up the Temple. The doors of the
holy place abruptly opened, a superhuman voice was heard to declare that the gods were leaving it, and in the same instant came the rushing tumult of
their departure.

Wow. This guys has some paper!
I'd say he is a reputable person.
Dr. Story Musgrave has earned five college degrees; a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Syracuse University in 1958; a Master's degree
in Business Administration in Operations Analysis from the University of California, Los Angles, in 1959 a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from
Marietta College in 1960; an M.D. from Columbia University in 1964; and a Master of Science Degree in Biophysics from the University of Kentucky in
1966. He has flown over 30 types of aircraft and holds instructor, instrument instructor, and airline transport ratings.
Edit to add:
He was also inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame

Well, the skeptics should find it pretty hard to dismiss this guys statements as him not being qualified. But some of them will try.

Wow I second that. Very impresive credentials. I know it shouldn't , but it still boggles my mind how a guy as reputable as Dr. Musgrave could have a
personal ,first hand experience with a flying saucer, and still not get the proper media attention he and the story deserve. It just blows my mind

Uow, that's huge!
Now I wonder how long it will take for the media to realize this isn't just fiction, since the masses are beginning to believe and little by little
important people start to backup stories.

I met Story Musgrave about a year ago, and when asked about UFOs, he totally disregarded them. So kinda interesting that he now is saying all this.

I won't dismiss his statements outright.....but I will point out that this is not direct from the horse's mouth so to speak. I have been trying to
find any other corroborating reference on the Internet and have not found anything with these specific allegations.
If, and that's a huge "if", he really did say these things....and they can be verified by more than this single article....it will probably move a
great deal of people off of the fence.
One reference of this sort, from a less than well-known publication is not reason to dance in the street. But it certainly provides a starting point
for digging up additional references.

them.
Just curious: Has he ever stated that his attempts at communication have been successful?
Also: If has indeed made contact and has asked them to take him with them, why do you suppose he is still here? Only 2 possible answers, 1) He's
never established contact, or 2) He's established contact and they told him to, "Fuhgettaboutit - go back home!"
Well - which is it?

Well, who knows for sure, but apparently this is what he has stated about UFO's on his 'official' website -
In terms of personally seeing any kind of evidence, I have seen glorious things out there, but I have never seen anything which I consider having the
signature of life or an intelligent being. I see little pieces of ice, sparklets, that dance out there and go away from you as they rotate in the
sunlight in linear fashion.

Since then he's been spreading his considered opinion that alien life exists. When Musgrave speaks of this, it's no great leap for one to
assume he's admitting knowledge of alien life. As the final slide of a "Grey" ET was shown during a recent astronomy presentation by Dr. Musgrave,
he made this surprising comment: "These guys are real... I guarantee it!" Dr. Musgrave does know the truth. This author guarantees it!
That whole paragraph pretty much cancels itself out. It first states he has an opinion, then confronts the reader with the author's preconceived
assumption that his "opinion" is basically admitting actual knowledge of alien life, forgoing the word opinion used in the previous sentence. Then,
if he did say they are real, and he knows it I'm sure it was no more than an expression of his very strong opinion, and not admitting anything.
And you guys crying that debunkers are going to trash this guy's credentials is outright foolish. He's an astronaut for crying out loud (and a
rather outspoken one, at that). That's the kind of things that debunkers want to hear, rather than some dumb youtube superstar, internet clown or the
likes. However, I would caution you guys from getting over anxious and jumping off the cliff of gullibility without looking into it further. I think
at times some are so wanting to believe they forget to use their reasoning skills, and the lemmings follow along with them.

I think they're blowing his statements up.
He says he tried to contact other lifeforms on his missions, I see that as kind of a "wishing upon a star" type of statement. Kind of like going out
in your back yard and looking up saying, "Hello, any aliens up there?" He just happened to be in space. He also says of the UFO that he doesn't
know if its ice particles, a washer, etc....
Google his name and UFO. I found a couple of articles that make it seem more like they are blowing it out of proportion. Like this one:
