page 1 details an unsuccessful trip to interview dr peoples (who it was found upon arrival had returned to his own laboratory as he was only on loan to holloman afb at the time) the teletype informing of his departure had apparantly not been received in due time. however, dr joseph olsen also saw the object and was interviewed. basic report of a round, white object which moved at high speed. several other witnesses are alluded to although not all were for this particular event. the last paragraph deteriorates in quality to gain sufficient information.

page 2 mentions that photographs were taken by another civilian in arizona on the same day. the photographs if available were to be collected and forwarded on. mr rhodes' camera was taken for examination.

The letter in this document is the same one in the "Project Sign Teletype" document, but it includes a second page which is missing in the other document.

This investigation of the UFO over Holloman AFB is a very interesting read.

I believe that the lab that Dr. Peoples worked for was actually the Watson Laboratories Air Material Command in Red Bank, New Jersey. Incidentally, Watson Labs was also involved with the Majestic 12 investigations, check the following link.

Watson Labs and Majestic 12

It also looks as if there was some evidence of fast moving objects in the radar laboratory at Holloman AFB as well (section 4 of the memo). Amazingly enough, the Lieutenant that saw the activity was "unavailable" for an interview as well.

The last paragraph looks like it talks about an interview with a Mr. Rhodes in Phoenix, AZ. Apparently there were a couple of more sightings of the same craft, and possibly some photographs that were taken.

All in all, not very interesting. It seems that most of the key players here have been conveniently removed so that no questions could be asked.

The memo that is unreadable in this FOIA document is also found in another FOIA document on ATS. Here is a link to the PDF file so that the document can be looked at in a better light.

Holloman AFB Sighting

It seems that Dr. peoples of the Watson laboratories was a very sought after person during Project Grudge as well as Blue Book.
