Did anyone ever test the Shanksville crash site?

Has anyone ever tested the soil around the Shanksville crash site for jet fuel?

Assuming 30-50% of the fuel burned off in the initial explosion, wouldn't that leave the remaining 70-50% to soak up into the ground? (Percentages are just a GUESS keeping in mind the percentages used in the WTC hits).

Did they remove a whole bunch of toxic soil from the crash site even? Wouldn't they do that if the soil was tainted with jet fuel?

Here is a article that might help. This is a quote from it:

By today, Environmental Resources Management Inc. of Pine, a contractor hired by United, expects to return 5,000 to 6,000 cubic yards of soil to the 50-foot hole dug around the crater left by the crash.

The soil is being tested for jet fuel, and at least three test wells have been sunk to monitor groundwater, since three nearby homes are served by wells, Betsy Mallison, a state Department of Environmental Protection spokeswoman, said.

Oddly, it also says..

So far, no contamination has been discovered, she said.

So it looks like whatever happened there it didnt deposit a extreme amount of jet fuel into the ground.

According to Rummy, they shot that plane down (oopsiedaisy! it slipped). If that's the case, not much jet fuel would be found, if any, at the supposed crash site...at least I would guess so. Especially if the plane was hit by a missle. WHOOSH! The explosion from the missile alone would be enough to ignite all the fuel, right?

Did anyone at that news conference even scratch their heads when he slipped like thet? What year was that conference from?
