Does it matter if they are masons or not. Thats like saying why are there so many christians or so many musicians or engineers here on ATS. Look for any catergory of people and you will find many here.

I have had ample opportunity to become a mason, I have close family and work colleagues as masons and many of them use ATS for the same reason as me and i am not a mason. Not because i dont want to be i just never get off my ass and join. Its not just masons here on ATS look around and see for yourself. Thats what makes ATS is the so many different types of people with different backgrounds and experience.

If there wasnt Masons on here there would be threads such as "What have the masons got against ATS?"

My brotherhood was the Armed forces as i was a soldier and guess what? There is literally dozens and dozens of ex forces people on here but no questions asked????

I would think that the Masons would use ATS as a tool to spred as much disinformation about their order as possible.

The more you do that the less actual fact you'll be able to find about them which would eventually turn all of that disinformation into ledgend and latter on myth.

It's really quite brilliant when you think of it. Use a web site dedicated to finding out the truth about secrets and continuiously pump out information that doesn't actually lead someone to the truth.

You seem to have a great deal of anger towards a lot of misconceptions of what and who the Masons are. I did not make any mention of these things and you're only adding the propogations of the hate and ignorance this thread is trying to prevent.

I'm not biased.The OP wanted to know why so many Masons are on ATS and why they use it. Why wouldn't ATS or other websites like be a perfect tool so that organziations such as the Masons can provide their own direction of the facts there by preventing any out side influence or internal information of, as you stated before, "proof"actually becomming public knowledge?

While I can appreciate that you're a 32nd degree Mason and have spent a very long time devoting your life to your order I would hope that in all of your time being a part of such a long standing organzation you'd be open to a discusson. Unfortunately you, sir, have provided the exact opposit and added even more shadow and mystery your illustrious order.

Again, I joined masonry for the same reason I joined ATS: To find out more and more and more about the strange world we live in.

Do you think anyone who becomes a mason automatically stops searching for truth? Dont you think Id have posted secrets a long time ago had I found them there? Because Masons (just like everybody else in the World) have, individually, many and varied interests and why wouldn't there be Masons on ATS. No. Just modes of recognition. Almost everything that Masons learn within Masonry is online. One problem .. almost every single Mason on the board comes from a different Grand Lodge, some are from England at that. I know it would be nice to think the Grand Lodges could coordinate such an effort lol but I honestly have to doubt they could.

I want to make it clear here that I"m not the one who was making reference to virgins, the devil and what ever other topic was mentioned.

In fact it was your fellow Mason who made those references. Not me.

I freely admit that I"m not 100% skilled in the use of the "quote" here on ATS but I did not at any point in time make a reference to those topics.

I'll even go so far as to and apologize for not being 100% versed in using the quote system either.
