I have seen offenders warned but rarely banned.
I guess it depends on one's motives.

Some are here for the truth
Some come for answers
Many seek like-minds
While other wish to educate
There are some who have motives and plans
Some of them have agendas to uphold

In the end this all only information to be shared.
Good, bad, indifferent, take what suits you and pass over the rest.
