Thats TV news worthy?
A blue plastic carrier bag caught in the wind close to camera.

Just read some of the other posts and notice other people had this conclusion.
It looks like a blue carrier, it moves like a blue carrier in the wind, its size is right for a blue carrier with the blurriness showing its size and distance to the camera.
But apparently this isnt a good explanation and it must be a blue ghost because I and other logical thinkers have the brain of a gnat, apparently.

when the news lady here held up a plastic bug to that camera, guess what? it went out of focus and glowed blue due to the security lights right behind the camera.

an angel was it? certainly couldnt be a bug could it? must be an apparition from the other side, then?

really, people.

and to be clear, not a plastic bag, it would have been in focus.

the toy bug held before the camera exhibited the very same qualities that the owner saw with his own eyes (looking at the monitor, of course)

but, it sure hasnt hurt his business, all the attention its attracted, the station was packed last night...

...I have no strong opinion what this is. I just am wondering.....

If it is indeed a blue bag drawn to the lens by static, how is it blowing around so freely? Just for the record, yes I have seen a bluebag (I have about a million Giant Eagle bluebags in my closet), yes the little blue thingys have become stuck to my hand, my window, my door, my windshield and you oftentimes need to pry them off with your fingernail, screwdriver, or sand blaster to remove them....you get the picture. It's called static cling for a reason, no?

Since we don't know what this is, keeping all options open, people not noticing the thing is proof of nothing. A ghost, by definition you may not see. Same thing with an alien, angel, ...whatever. I am not saying I think it is any of these things I am simply saying since we have no proof of what it is using the fact that no one seems to pay it any attention proves nothing to me.

If it is something we don't understand then we very possibly can't prove or disprove it with the limited information we do understand.

Then again, it could be a bug.

That's interesting that they still haven't come up with a logical explanation for that Blue Thing was.

As for myself, I'm ranking it right up there with one of the most unusual phenomenon's I've seen in a long time.

I wonder if another one will show up somewhere else sometime soon... I hope so!

To me just by the way it moved I think it's a bug. If it were a ghost made of some kind of mist or whatever I don't think it would have to turn around like it did to move in a different direction. And the people out there didn't seem to make a big deal about it, you think they would point at it or at least stand there and look at it but they went about there business like it weren't even there. And if it was a bag it would have been an awfully big bag.

Definately moves like a bug. I could imagine the security lights shining through the little critter and making it appear blue. It's fuzzy because the bug is out of focus.

I'm almost 100% it's a bug.

Peace,
- Naz

My God people, y'all are so gullible.

This is nothing more than a creepy crawly bug on the weather protective camera enclosure case. Since the bug is way out of the focal range and because it is too close to lens it is extremely blurry. The jerky motion also is a dead give away that it is a freakin' bug.

And no it is not a bag!

Summertime bugs show up on my surveillance system all the time in the exact same manner.
Beleive me, the first time I say a freakin' bug head straight for the Infrared red LED of my night vision surveillance camera, I almost freaked.
I swear it looked just like a small freakish alien grass hopper

May flies look especially mysterious because when out of focus they resemble small angels. I've seen pictures of these alleged Angels on Coast to Coast AM as well but I can readily recognize these as May Flies based on personal experience.

As for the bluish tinge of the buggy entity, this can be attributed to a poor auto adjustment of the camera itself. It is most likely that the AWB (Auto White Balance) setting has not been adjusted on this camera. Auto White Balance allows a camera to correct for different types of lighting. Florescence lighting can cast a blue-ish tinge compared to natural lighting.

Case closed.

Seems to me that the owner may have a crafty hand in photoshop. I am sure his business has picked up considerably....Hmmm makes you wonder.

Hi, it's a fish. The video was shot through the tank. Watch closely as it turns you can see the little fins stick out. Then it dives face first to the bottom like its feeding. I don't have a link but I've seen something like this before, thanks.

Dagnabbit YOUR RIGHT

I laughed when you said that, but looked over the film again and again...

It DOES INDEED move like a fish! There are two sections you can see the body bending like a fish suddenly spurting away...

Star for that one

Well let me see. I know plastic bags exist and believe angels don't exist, so for me 'tis probably a bag.

The punters going to and fro the station take no heed of it. The owner watches it for 30 minutes and doesn't go out to investigate?

Sounds to me like someone has found a way of promoting his gas station.

No cigar from me....of course you believers know that I am the delusional one and am wrong

Nice of the spirit world to pay a gas station a visit...do they run on deisel or petrol

Thank you Lord Zorgon! I have always enjoyed reading your posts here and I'm glad we agree it could be a fish.

I worked the night shift in a gas station a LOONG time ago and boredom is constant. If we had video than maybe I could have been this creative. Instead of crank calling the escort services by the Army base

I can't quite grasp the bag idea, but I do not see a bug or ghost either... Thanks for giving me something to think about for the rest of the day!

It sure moves EXACTLY like a bug on a lens, blured because its so close.
But the colour really confuses me.

Yes, it is a crap title. ; )
And yes, it is interesting.

And now, after more than a month, I would like to know - please, read this carefully, everyone: I would like to know not your opinions (and I am not offering mine, as you can see), but what the media which reported this eventually found out about this.

If they didn't follow up this story, it's sloppy reporting at best...
And I say we make them report on the findings.
(I am in the media, so I know it can - and should - be done.)
