This definitely sounds likes an unprecedented news conference of its kind which, hopefully, will become the beginning of a concerted effort to bring credibility to the "UFO" phenomenon and sightings to the news media and to the public.

What good is this when the credentialed media is so controlled? Well, lets hope something interesting makes it out anyway.

I hope so. However, I remain skeptical about this news conference on Monday, November 12, being able to steer "ufology" away from the "fringe science" category into the mainstream. What we need is a bonafide, undisputable, mass sighting unlike the controversial 1997 Phoenix sightings, which probably will never happen.
