Well one story states that she was in a window waving a hammer another story states she didn't get the hammer till the police broke there way into her home.

They were there doing a wellness check, and I guess they felt they could not disarm her without tazering her.

If a police officer can't disarm a 82 yesr old without tazering her, they should not be a police officer.

What a horrible thing to do to an old woman. I guess no body is safe from over zelous police these days.

I have noticed that the rookies are usully the officers that loose their cool and act too quickly.

This action is totally uncalled for.

I'm a grandmother. Is this what I have to look forward to? Some young punk cop tasering me ? Of course my choice of defense weapons is not a hammer. God help us all.
