I have to go with Gibby.

Dennis Eckersley was the preeminent closer of his time. There has never been a closer more "lights out", maybe Mariano Rivera, but I digress. Gibby coming off the bench cold and taking Eckersley deep to win the game was the most spine-tingling sports moment I've ever seen.

"I don't believe.....what I just saw!" is probably Jack Buck's greatest call as well.

Peace

I have to go off list. I remember it. I was six years old, our house was filled neighborhood Packers fans. Awesome. One of my earliest memories.

I also wanted to add to this list Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson at the pinnacle of his career.

Peace

Though, I understand this may not be everyones greatest moment, its by far (even knowing the historical records above and beyond) my Greatest Sprots history Moment.

I was a little kid, sitting on the living room floor watching the Jays who had just won the pennant the year before. 'We' were down one run and just when we thought we were headed back to Philly, Mighty Joe stepped to the plate....

www.kidzworld.com...

#3. World Series Heroes - Joe Carter
With his Toronto Blue Jays trailing 6-5 in the bottom of the ninth of Game Six in the 1993 World Series, Joe Carter had a lot of pressure on him to win the game. The game was at home and if the Jays lost, they would have to play Game Seven in Philly. But with two men on, Joe calmly went to the plate then belted a home run off the Phillies' Mitch Williams to bring the second consecutive World Championship to the city of Toronto!

I get tingles up my spine just typing this. It was unreal

"Now the 2-2... well hit down the left field line- way back and GONE!!! [pause] Joe Carter with a 3-run homer!! The winners, and still world champions, the Toronto Blue Jays!.....Touch'em all Joe!"

Defiantly a best ever Canadian Sports Moment.

It's gotta be the drive. A clutch moment in NFL history. Elways leads the Bronco's 98 yards downfield. ( this is the best video I could find)

It was the end of the game, on the road, it would determine who goes to the Super Bowl.
