california want to ban redskins name

Ok this as gone far enough, as far as im concerned, if they pass this law fine no more redskins, but wanting to ban names like Braves, Cherokee, Warriors what the #, this is polical correctness out of hand.

This whole politically correct thing has gotten out of hand. It is beginning to trample on freedom of speach. I am mostly Cherokee (and Italian) and I do not take offense.

What's new? I mean my mom has this book that tells what words that they have banned in schools (Maybe now even the whole US) some of them were:

Fellowship [Banned, sexest]
Mail Man [Replaced with Mail Person]
Throws like a girl [banned sexest, replaced with doesn't throw well]
And No one older then 16 should be called a boy or girl

Give me a break here this is just New speek at it's best here I mean come on...Even Smokey the Bear's saying "Only you can prevent Forest fires!" Couldn't out run polictal Corectness it is now "Only you can prevent wild fires."

Yeah if I was politcaly correct all the time I would be an african-american and Im white. Because grandparents dutch moved to south africa, had my parents. parents moved here and had me. So I could also be native american. The whole world is so offensive now.

My school hase the Apaches as our mascot. There's been a bit of controversy a while ago about it, and how it should be changed to something else, like the peacocks (our city's mascot) . The White Mountain Apaches say they they're prefectly okay with out school bearing the name of ther tribe, and are pleased to have that honor. Really, what's the big deal?
