Dinosaurs breathed like penguins

From external source:
Dinosaurs like Velociraptors owe their fearsome reputation to the way they breathed, according to a UK study.

news.bbc.co.uk...

Story snippet:
They had one of the most efficient respiratory systems of all animals, similar to that of modern diving birds like penguins, fossil evidence shows.

Kinda funny given the fact penguins are virtually harmless.

I'm sure they are. Honestly I expected Dinosaurs to be about .000000001% like penguins. That's why I like ATS though....

i don't know if this makes penguins more awesome or dinosaurs more awesome... because they were both pretty damn cool to begin with.

Well. Your post proves my point. Sure in the cretacious the oxygen level was higher but when the dinosaurs made theire rise to dominance the triassic it was much lower.
