as a brief synopsis...(though I'm sure much of this is likely in those links provided by clive...)

Basically a group of various rich/powerful men from many countries who conspire together to dictate world policy. The name is taken from their first meeting at the Bilderburg hotel, but since then, they meet in a variety of locations generally owned by one or more members, about once a year. In the UFO circles, the group knows about the alien agenda, etc.
