NASA has released a new image taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit.
This is the first image recieved from the Rover since communication problems began a week earlier.
NASA says its engineers are working to restore Spirit to working order. In the meantime, Spirit's twin, Opportunity, which landed Sunday on the
other side of Mars, may roll off its lander to begin its scientific mission as early as this weekend.
Once again NASA has outdone itself, first sending two Rovers into Mars, then repairing the broken Spirit's camera from millions of miles away.
Life could be just a feet away from the Rover and now we have a chance of seeing it after a week's delay.
