It really bugs me that people are so qucik to call hoax here, don't get discouraged by them. How do these people know what an alien will do with a web cam, jeez.
Flagged and starred.

I don't know about this one, but the thing that makes me wonder is the whole "C:" drive directory thing. If we knew exactally what folder these movies were in, it might help us a little bit, but from judging from your provided screen shot, those movies are definatly not in your C:/ root directory. There isn't even a windows directory, but rather, it looks like this was found IN your windows directory. There seems to be a bunch of temporary files in here, including the local folder "TEMP" in here, thus the location of these files would be "C:/Windows/" which is not your root directory. As far as I know, from any program I've worked with, nothing saves into your windows directory UNLESS your installing a program with .dll files, or your installing fonts, and even then, .dll files go into System 32, and fonts go into a font folder. Also, telling from the screen shot, there are other saved files here. Unless this is a public folder, nothing should be saved in a root directory where temp is, and even then, a Temp folder is never in a C:/ (root). This makes me wonder like I said. And you can't claim that an Alien would go and "save" the file in the Windows folder because thats just completely ubsurd (sp?). I'm not saying this is fake, but the location of the two movies doesn't seem legit. But thats just my opinion.
Edit: I just realized that your screen shot was cut off at the top and that your folders are in alphabetical order, thus this is your windows folder, unlike I said before, but this still makes me wonder why a file would be stored in this folder?

Please have it analyzed! It would be so interesting to see it much clearer. It would be worth the time and trouble. I hope that what ever it turns out to be stays away from you for ever. Are you still nervous about it? U2U me sometime and we can talk if you want.

Also, just a few questions. Why is the screenshot cut off? I'm just assuming that you only wanted to show the important stuff, right? Also, why is the screen shot in PNG format? PNG is usually used for complicated, moddifed picutres that usually are used in Photoshop, but hey, what do I know? Usually, when I take a picture of my desktop, I open it in Paint and save it as gif or jpg. Do you use photoshop or some other fancy program to save pictures? Also, if you can post a full screen of the location of these vidoes, that may help. Thanks.

I think your are correct about not C:\
Looks like an app directory, like may be the camera stuff.
To the OP
What was the cam's make/model. May be someone has one and can check for directory names, etc.

I thought that may be there was a hotkey sequence that might fire the camera for a short second duration. May be that hotkey got accidentally hit by you or someone/something else. Like a cat or a visitor. Something you might not have even known about but was there by default from the install.

This is simply an accidental product of contrast pixelisation but interesting never-the-less... kind of...
Watch the "Slowed Down" movie clip again and near the top of the screen where the dark horizontal band occurs. Approximately one 3rd of the way from the left hand side of the shot is a "bearded face"...
Anyone else see that?
