Are we really surprised that such a precision attack was carried out by the best Air Force on the planet?

If they nuked the site, where is the fallout from it?

Why would the USAF need to bomb it in the first place with the IAF has the capability to do it itself?

Why are you using al-jazeera as a credible news source?

Oh yeah, I forgot. Al-Jazeera is only credible when they talk about the innocent civilians we are apparently bombing daily.

It works both ways.

I don't believe the article said they nuked the site. I believe it said they were carrying nuclear missles.

Good find, man! This is pretty amazing stuff. And you know the snowball effect of news! We'll be hearing more and more about this in the coming weeks if it has any truth to it.

Guess somehow they used nuclear missiles that didn't go nuclear.

They bombed a big square building with laser guided bombs. Yeah, there's some serious talent at work there. It's probably easier than taking a dump and hitting the bowl.

BTW, does it really even matter who carried out the bombing?

Peace

It said that the USAF did it. Not the RAF!

If the USAF did it. Why would they need support from Israeli planes?

Did you read the article?

They specifically mentioned that each of the two aircraft carried one tactical nuclear device, and only one was used.

Agreed. Why would a F-117 need support aircraft? Sort of defeats the purpose of stealth doesn't it? This story has all sorts of holes in it. Something was bombed in Syria however. Perhaps the Israeli jets flew around as a distraction. You know, like when Gandalf marched an army to the black gate to distract Sauron so Frodo could torch the ring.

Al-Jazeera throws in enough truth to keep things interesting, but to say that it was all true is probably incorrect.

Read the article!!!!!!!!

It says each was armed with 1 strategic nuclear missle. Planes are not armed with just 1 anything. They were probably loaded to the hill with wwapons, they chose to point the nuclear missle thing out. It also said 1 bomb was dropped between the planes. Where does it say it was nuclear? The site was a nuclear installation, so 1 bomb should do the job.

Jeez!

You ever hear of any war plane going for an attack manned with just 1 weapon? The planes were probably full af ammunitions, but they pointed out the 1 missle each. Come on people....common sense clears this right up!!!!! LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC!!!!

It was done undercover of the RAF. The rules of engagement were probably clear. If Syria was to send up fighters to defend the sight, only the Israeli fighters were probably given permission to engage them, as a dogfight over Syria with American fighters would have led to an immediate retaliation from Iran and the rest of the countries over there. This is expected from Israel and not from the US, thats why the US was involved. If 1 bomb was dropped, who is to say that is was an American missle? Maybe we were there for the ride along, to make sure things went as planned and that the installation was really what Israel claimed it to be.

-The following is Not directed at you dbates-

Why do people just react, and not think about things before they post?

Do you have any idea how much a nuke weighs or how many stations it takes up?

What other kind of bomb could have destroyed the facility with one bomb that could be carried by a tactical aircraft?

You can't destroy a nuclear facilty with one bomb, unless it is a nuclear bomb. You can't get a reactor to just chain react unless it is under precise conditions.

With a little digging you just might find that Jpost quoted al-Jazeera, who quoted Islam Memo, who quoted...

Wait for it...

An anonymous businessman.

DUDE:

It was a missle, not a bomb. Strategic nuclear missle. say it with me.....Strategic nuclear missle. It was not a BOMB, as they would have been carried by Stealth BOMBERS not stealth FIGHTERS.

Like I said.....

Read the stories, analyze, calm down, then post.

Stop jumping to conclusions. If you rationalized, you would have seen these were fighters, not bombers, hence you would have made the very simple connection.

Stupid does as stupid is told to do!
