Part 2
Proeliator radical Thomas Anderson was handing out pamphlets. But not that many seemed interested. Many civilians had already been dumbed down, being
blissfully ignorant of their current conditions. It infuriated him. There has be a better way to help these people , Thomas thought. Thomas and his
fellow Proeliators’ were losing hope. His 2 associates in freedom with him passing out pamphlets were Harold and Kumar. They too were also
crestfallen. Not many had grabbed for the pamphlets as they hoped for. Just another day in the fruitless fight against the government. Just then,
around the corner come running was the fascist police force the Specialis Excolo (or literally from Latin the Secret Police) was coming at full steam
towards the 3 vagrants. Surprised and off guard the 3 threw their pamphlets in the air and ran. They eventually lost them after zig zagging through
the war torn urban area.
The city was devestated. From the civil war past, it was completly unrecogniazable. Paint was nowhere to be seen on buildings as bullet rounds that
impacted the walls chipped them off. Holes from RPG's and M16s were very apparent. Running was dangerous, as there were just as many holes that were
weathered from not only Mother Nature but also from rockets and mortars. But with the Proeliators knowing their enviorment (and being guerilla
fighters), it wasnt difficult to escape from the Government. As “vigilantes” the Licentia knew the terrain better than anyone. Then, there was a
dark alley where all there was were pieces of trash , debris, and a manhole cover. Thomas went over to the manhole cover, bending down and looking
over his shoulder for anyone else, then seeing as the coast was clear he opened it. The 3 went inside and traversed the dirty sewers to the secret
Headquarters of the Licentia. I
t was in the middle of an intersection of pipes (the pipes in these sewers were big enough for them to walk in without crouching) that there was a
flat , but shallow bowl area, that had tents, metal canisters (the illegal weapons cache), cots, a make-shift Control Post that consisted of
communications, a poorly done and hastily built mess area for eating and relaxation, and the leaders of the Licentia. The 3 of the figthers then
reported to the Control Post and informed their great leader, “General” Dib Rockefeller, of the situation. Dib was an experienced fighter having
fought in the Civil War for those who seeked help from the radicals vying to fill local power vaccums, assisted the downtrodden, and was one of the
many firsts who fought against the totalitarian Government he is fighting now. He knows what he talks about and is smart, with a cunning conviction to
see this subjugation and restriction of not only life, but of the free people, to the end: the end being until he see's it become a reality or if
he's dead that is.
He was informed by Thomas that the Specialis had found out what they were doing but escaped successfully. Dib took note of this; there had been an
increased number of attacks and attempts on his fighters to find out what he was doing and what they were concocting. This also coincides with the
ultimate plan of his, which was coming ever closer. “Men,” Dib said “I thank you for doing your duty. I thank all of you too!” Dib yelled as
his voice rang out through the sewer to his dedicated followers. “We have fought long and hard” Dib continued, with the eyes of his trusted
fellows upon him “fighting against an enemy that is both cruel and unwilling to allow us to live in dignity and peace. And for that, I will die to
uphold the inalienable rights our forefathers gave to us so that we may continue to live in prosperity. So now, I must say that our major plan as so
many of you know , called Operation Storming Dragon, will officially start tomorrow. We have all the necessary items, people, safe houses, and
frankly, everything that those Government bastards think we dont have, we have that too! So everyone, get a good nights rest and God Bless!” The
Generals speech was overwhelmingly insightly and inspiring to the huddled masses of fighters who were too willing to fight to the death against the
government.
