Great Terran War

I've heard mention of Great Terran War . I'm not really sure what this is . i've heard that is was in AUS but all i seem to get is confused. any one care to help?

It's part of a gaming system (one of those "alternate timeline" things where Evil Alien Invaders show up and a Heroic Band of Earthlings goes after them.) You can do some reasonably good gaming with it, though the plotlines tend to resemble some of the worse science fiction movies.

so the terran war is a video game and not true history and australia is not the site of the great terran war? I'm not trying to be smart but do some people not know the differance?
