This is just the kind of knee-jerk skepticism that keeps people from discovering the real truth about butt monkeys. What are you afraid of, that your so-called "science" might be found to be wrong? I guess being open-minded is just too hard for some people.

thats actually an interesting thing to bring up, why did so many believe or at least, make up stories about dragons if they never existed? too many drugs and a wild imagination? dinosaurs?

actually heres a question for you, for allthose that disbelieve in aliens ever coming to earth, do you also rule out there being possibly other dimensions?
(check out m/ string theory if your answer is yes).

I would never rule out the possibility that aliens have visited Earth (because I believe life HAS to be out there somewhere), and I would also never rule out the possibility of there being other dimensions. We have no way of knowing for sure right now...

i dont personally believe that reptilians are running things from behind the scenes as i havent personally seen enough evidence for it but, thats not to say i havent got an open mind to the possibility that it may well be true. If they are running things (or even exist for that matter) then wouldnt it be fair to say that there would be little or no evidence in the public realm as it would be suppressed for obvious reasons. All those “cranks” that talk about seeing greys and reptilians may well be telling the truth, then again, they may be dolally. Who really knows?

One thing that does trouble me though, so many people when they do not believe in something themselves are so quick to jump on others and tell them to shut up. We are all entitled to think/ believe what we like, even "debate" about it but telling people to not talk about such things isnt constructive imho.

Remember, some of the greatest minds throughout time were considered to be mad for their opinions/ theories only to be later proven to be correct in theroies. Many havent come forward with their views through fear of losing their reputation or being ridiculed. Dont be so quick to judge is all im really trying to say. One thing i know about this universe, we as a species know very little about it in the grand scheme of things =]

Even some of the greatest minds chose not to believe in certain things, take Einstein for example, look what he achieved yet he did not want to accept some/all claims proposed re: Quantum Mechanics which actually prevented him from achieving his life time goal in formulating a theory of everything.

The problem with the lizard people theory is its only words passed on with no facts.
A low resolution badly compressed youtube video is not evidence.

I doubt it can be proven it is or isn't true, but then that means its as viable as me claiming that there are people in power that are actually disguised rat people from inside the earth.
I can then attribute all hollow earth theory to this, I can provide bad videos of buck teeth and strange body hair and I can also make up anything I want by telling people what they are seeing and hearing, the chances are that theres always going to be an audience thats going to believe and in 20 years time when it cant be disproved it will be just as popular as lizardmen.

Oh and then David Icke could steal my idea and claim it as his own findings like he does everything else.

Sure, some random video on YouTube may laud itself as being evidence that Hillary Clinton is a reptile, or Rumsfeld, or Bush, or whoever.. and yeah almost all of the time it can be "explained away" as compression artifacts or video encoding imperfections, but why take stuff like that for granted? The people posting these videos probably aren't video editing or production specialists, so how do they know what it really is?

Honestly, you're taking the persistence of ONE member and stamping his seal on every instance a reptilian thread comes up in this place, then calling it an epidemic of foolishness. I think it's good more people are at least looking for things involving this theory, why let something we don't know for sure is false die? After all..

God never mentioned reptiles in the Bible so it must not be true. Hell he didn't even mention dinosaurs so fossils must be planted evidence to make us believe giant lizards used to exist

I feel your pain. But the problem was people were passing off compression artifacts as evidence of (to paraphrase) 'transformation' or of a 'failing illusion'. Even a conspiracy site can lose patience when a fact is clearly misidentified and then misconstrued.

This is just the tip of the ice-berg. In the past year I have seen a kind of "mix-and-match" reporting--Juicy bits of various stories conglomerated together into single story reports... Bits of audio from one case overlapped over another video in a disingenuous way. Its the kind of entropic chaos that causes total information loss, the kind of thing that we can't afford.

And yes, I get the hypocrisy of a conspiracy site choosing between 'belief' and 'disbelief'. Personally, I draw the line at fabrication and clear misidentification presented as evidence. If it helps at all, the 'disbelief' was in relation to people spamming false evidence. As for the broader topic of lizard people, I have no opinion on the matter.

It's good to see others calling it for what it is. There is certain wince factor I brace myself for when I visit here. I'm glad that there are some (maybe not enough) people willing to call topics as they see them.

Instead of raising awareness on an otherwise interesting topic (Aliens/UFOs), some people feel that grandiose claims based on poor analysis are what's needed to keep the fires burning on the overall topic. It doesn't work. Fantastic claims preach to a very small choir. The reason mainstream media is sure to play goofy space sounds when covering UFO events. It does far more harm than good.

If people would leave their computers. Maybe spend more time outside looking at real stars instead of the ones in sci-fi shows; serious analysis and objectivity just could make a come back.

I'm an atheist/agnostic whatever it is, the one where its believe it when I have proof.

I only believe what I perceive to be proof to me.
If people have to avoid going on threads they disagree with then whats the point in the site, surely debate is better than just thread after thread of people agreeing with each other.

Just because a story is floating around that cant be disproven does not mean its real.
On the same token it doesnt mean its not a possibility either.
There is absolutely no proof except for stories, these used to be called urban myths, now they are called possibilities.
I personally think these subjects deserve speculation and questioning.
Just like there are people who will dispute aliens, ufo's, god, big foot, chupa cabra and such, everything that isn't scientifically proven and public knowledge is bound to have sceptics.

If I now make a thread stating I know 100% I have seen a UFO and dont provide proof I will be called a liar in a round about way.
I can swear on my unborn babies life that I have seen a Unidentified Flying Object (note I never said alien spacecraft) that baffles belief and that I know wasn't my imagination, drugs or what not (my friend saw the same thing).
Long story short I could swear in court under oath, be hypnotised put under the best interrogation procedures with a thousand lie detectors attached to me and I would pass as telling the truth.
The thing is all that I have is my word, just like lizard people is only in word, I am going to be called a liar and how it didn't happen and doesn't exist just the same.

That's why its called the unexplainable.
The thing is my story is more likely due to it being a UFO sighting, their is more proof of UFO sightings than there is Lizard people.
Maybe the ones in the craft are lizard people, maybe from another planet, maybe from a hollow earth or maybe just living here on earth.
Until their is decent proof beyond stories then their will be sceptics.

You cant be angry that people expect something in the way of proof.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence = anything can be made up and if it cant be disproven then it must be true.

I show up everyday hoping that when I hit the "Recent Posts" button that a "reptilian" related subject won't be there. You'll learn to immediately look to your right to see where topics are catagorized. The credulity of a subject pretty much lay in category it's filed under. Thank god for the Skunkworks tab.

Well, I suppose that I should have looked into the Skunkworks section but the last thing I want to do is fuel the fire of the reptilian thing, so yeah...I agree to that statement.

My apologies to those who have read and re-read and re-re-read the same stuff on reptilians as I am sure I can feel your pain too! I like thinking outside the box, but there has to be something remotely believable or even tangible by the mind. So far, reptilians are a not even close thought IMO.

I think there may be a thing or two or a hundred that could be out there and may not be able to be explained but not this wild theory...it's just rubbish and I agree to the poster who stated that they thought it was a product of a paranoid mind! Kudos to whomever siad that!
