Sorry if this is somewhere on here. I couldn't find it. Can anyone here help me put a link that says a specific phrase in my signature? I tried copying from what someone else did, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

I see the Benjamin Franklin quote are you trying to change to something else?

The best thing to do is use the bbl code that you would use here on the board to link to a page.

To get it, open a new post window. click on the pic of the globe up above, in the middle of the post tool bar. type in whatever you want to name the link, hit enter. Then insert the URL in the second box that pops up.

The code with the URL and the name of the link will pop up in the posting box. Highlight and CTRL-C the whole thing, then close the window without hitting "post reply." Then put the line of code in your sig.

No doubt some people actually know what code to type and don't have to do the extra step or two, but I can't be bothered.
