wish me luck. trying to adopt another basset.(pic)

i am going to see her tomorrow. i am trying to stay mellow but i am so excited. we comunicated throuh several emails and she said she was being picky. instead of asking her what she wanted, i just kind of gave a run down of our deal and even sent over a few pics of my man.

i think i got her and if all goes well i will her her tomorrow.

basset hound. 2 yr old female. spayed.
her name is 'angela'..thats so cool man. angela basset

Awww Angela's so cute. I absolutely love basset hounds. My neighbor has one named Sherlock.

we are goin to see her today at 11am.
i talked to the lady in several emails and she said if we like her and the 'contract' is not a problem, we can take her home today.

well i won't know for sure till we get em home. i could take him with but that don't mean when we get back to HIS house he is not gonna cop an attitude.

i just don't see it happening though. there is a little chewy across teh street and a weiner dog a few houses down and he plays with them.

i think he will be fine, especially with this being a female basset.

we;ll let them get to know each other in the front yard and stuff first. maybe walk em both down to the park.

i think it will work out fine. i am starting to get nervous...two dogs and all but i love my dude and i think he will be happy with a little girl friend.

they are both fixed so they can just rock out whenever...not have to worry about babies....nice life eh?

males dog name is keller.
we got the female. she didn't know her name so we are going to call her maggie.

they have both been running balls out through the house for about 90 minutes straight.

they're kissing and stuff.

they are already like pete and repeat.

Aww! I'm so glad it worked out!

My new adopted cat (Siamese) and older adopted cat (Balinese) don't like each other. But I like them both, so they have separate living quarters and family time. I'd let them duke it out, but the Siamese is HUGE (his head comes up to my knee) and only 5 years old and little Lindsey is much smaller and is almost 14 years old.

But we have a large enough house to make this a liveable solution.

thats kind of a bummer byrd.
