Not with what is happening on the screen, but i have this feeling, i have seen this before, each part of the movie, like i have seen it before...

I have not read the book, nor ever seen the movie, but why does this seem like i have seen this before...

This is just wierd..

How do i know all the things going on in this movie...

The themes have been used in other films and books because they're so true on some levels.

Did you see Brazil, for instance?

Read the book first, it's an easy read and not too long.
See the movie for sure, it's fairly true to the book but gives you a visual perspective.
George Orwell had a unique perspective on the future at the time, and he missed the date by a few years, but his predictions are uncanny when you look at the world today.

I also recommend the movie MM suggested, Brazil was very good as was The Boys From Brazil. We weren't cloning when that last one was made.

Many alternate futures are available to us and not all are bleak.
Some movies that I really liked that you should see are:

Logan's Run
Soylent Green
Children Of Men
A Clockwork Orange

The future isn't written yet, you can make it what you want.......
