Humanity's very survival is at risk, says UN

www.timesonline.co.uk

The speed at which mankind has used the Earth’s resources over the past 20 years has put “humanity’s very survival” at risk, a study involving 1,400 scientists has concluded.
The environmental audit, for the United Nations, found that each person in the world now requires a third more land to supply his or her needs than the Earth can supply.

That's a VERY bold headline.

THIS IS IMPORTANT

If the United Nations has finally woke up and admitted that the World is in trouble it's time to take notice. Historically political bureaucracy and fear of repercussions or liabilities have a tendency to slow the process in things like this to the point where final revelation shouldn't be ignored. We've been carelessly killing the Planet for many years. Scientists have been calling out the warning for decades, but FINALLY the powers at the top are admitting the truth. The situation must be very bad for them to have finally said something about it.

When the United Nations says that Humanity's SURVIVAL is at risk it's DEADLY SERIOUS.

WE NEED TO LISTEN

We all need to realize that we can't continue to do the things we've been doing. We've been ignoring the consequences of our actions for WAY TOO LONG. The signs are very plain now. Humanity is KILLING THE PLANET. If we don't do something about it MOTHER NATURE WILL.

If it's taken them 20 or 30 years to realize and admit there's a problem CAN WE TRUST THEM to act swiftly enough to decide what to do about it?

REMEMBER THIS

This is THE MOST IMPORTANT issue anybody has ever faced. EVERY DECISION of policy our leaders make must start with this question. DOES THIS HELP SAVE THE PLANET?

We need to CHANGE OUR WAYS. That's EVERYONE. Corporations too.

It's not every day the UN makes a statement like this. Hopefully this new understanding and STONE COLD statement of consequence will be noticed and remembered.

the best thing that can be done is to tax religion,

that alone will help reorient the world away from
self destruction

Hmmm, well if all this is undoubtedly true, maybe the NWO isn't such a bad thing.

Seriously though, life is extremely resilient. Many might die if this is all true, but humanity will survive.

i do not know what to say.. maybe the next cold war? Why are the best energy technologies suppressed (to be used exclusively for the military ) while we are accused for destroying the Earth?

I think the UN's blowing smoke. If Humanity can survive the Black Death, they can survive anything.
