I guess the sleeping pills that he probably depend on like Bush to be able to sleep at night with all the horrible deeds they have done to this nation and the Iraqi nation, are working out at the wrong time.

Well, it didn't have to do with Halliburton and profit margin so why sweat it. You think that pointy toothed monster cares about any of us? Hee hee, ha ha. Think again.

A couple of things. Maybe he just wanted to dream about his next hunting trip. THAT could be exiting.

Secondly, isn't Cali a Blue state? If so, I think you may be preaching to the choir here.

He hates being called the VP by the way being there was just a formality and he also hates being there.

Hey look when Enron et al were looting the state of CA during the energy crisis, he did nothing. Whats a few fires. He listened to make sure Orange County was safe then tuned out.

So do I.

Can't really blame him. A lot of people are getting bored with the fires. Yeah, they really suck. Can't do anything about it. No point in fretting.

Maybe so, but you can show a little concern for your fellow citizens. And with Cheney being our VP and all, don't you think he should be paying attention to a little something like this? Then again, it's not his house so why worry?

There's nothing anybody can do about it that isn't already being done. Whether or not Cheney is awake or asleep doesn't make a bit of difference. Despite what he may believe, he is not a god nor does he have super powers.

Maybe he's nodding off because he was up all night fighting fires with his bare hands? Or coordinating fire fighting strategies? Or maybe he got a craving to stay up late watching The Terminator? How does it matter?

This is nothing more than something regarding Cheney to rant about.

What is the big deal? What could he have done that was not being done?

I know some of you are incapable of realizing this, but they were doing everything they can do to help with the fires. Its not like they can snap their hands and poof the fires go bye bye.

Some of you really have some serious issues ...

This just goes to show how much he cares about our country. Unless he can bomb someone back to the stoneage, or murder towns full of innocent people, he could care less.

You'd think that someone would have tapped his shoulder and said "Hey goofball, wake up, were talking about a national emergency here". My only hypothesis is that no one wanted to have the blood sucked out of their neck afterwards, hence the silence.

And what a stupid response given to try and cover his behind. This administration is the worst everrrrrr.
