Technology stocks are on the rise in our current market. With the new deal penned between MS and Facebook, that could explain the rise in MS stock. With Oil on the rise all major car companies are coming together to combine R+D costs to speed up Hybrid and all electric car model's.....it's about time. sorry my .02

Eh, maybe -- but at the same time, they're development half of that is going pretty slow to seemingly ruin the middle class in the meantime, think about so many people that can't afford new cars, well, in the future -- they'll have to since peak oil is sooner then. . . .

Unfortunately, Biofuel/hybrid cars are not going to halt the advance of the impeeding oil crisis; There is more at stake here than mere public convenience - for starters, we need to be able to ship that public convenience to the public; What's the point of making half a million hybrid cars when we'll be using the fuel we would have saved on shipping costs?

But yeah, asides from that - i'm sure microsoft have the next generation of software all lined up for the next few years - Windows Vista 2008 edition anyone?

I don't even like this ver of Vista -- seriously, there's a 2008 version? Ah, and I'm thinking about going back to XP sometimes.

Actually they had a recent pop when they gave their numbers. They had huge numbers on the ipods again and the iphone thing.

Stock jumped big time after release. Honestly, the OS could only hurt them, not help. Any delay would hurt again. The expectations are so huge on this one, that not blowing away expectations would be seen as a bad thing. Good news often leads to "not good enough" mentality here on wall street. Buy the potentional, sell the news!
