That would be a plausible assumption. So the us are controlled leaking some of there new technological secret stuff to the world. so that they can tell the people we are that smart of making such a piece of equipment.
And then say we did it back in 1947. all that ufo stuff it was always us doing that.

The consensus was that it was something in the airplane's canopy (scratches, etc).
