This thread has gotten me thinking. I feel my mind opening to the possibilities. This is in large part due to stompk.
Now, I will post this theory with caution, as FOX News may be watching me.
Beware, it's "out there". Here we go:
My thinking has led me to conclude this theory.
My theory is, this year, the western United States encountered a season called "Summer". Now, this season only occurs once a year, so for those who
don't know much about this so called "Summer", it is typically the time in which the weather is the hottest.
During "Summer", in the western United States, the amount of rain fall is slim to none.
Now, what I'm thinking is, what if the combination of heat and no rain made the trees and brush dry?
That isn't even the crazy part of my theory, so bear with me.
To add to this troubling turn of events, a phenomenon called the "Santa Ana Winds", which occurs in the season we typically call "Fall", or under
it's alias, "Autumn".
According to the calendar, we are in October. And according to how the seasons are set up, October is a part of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere. This
could just be a conspiracy between "Autumn" and the calendar, but we will assume it is not for the sake of my theory.
Now the tricky stuff comes in.
I believe that these so called "Santa Ana Winds" could have knocked down a power line, which typically has electricity that can start fires, and
given the close proximity between the dry brush and downed power lines, a fire was born.
This fire was then spread by these quite strong Santa Ana Winds to create a massive fire.
Wishing to concoct such a masterful conspiracy as "Mother Nature" did, arsonists then set out to start other fires, but to no avail, as they were
caught in the act.
Now, take my theory with a very large grain of salt. I know I will be looked at as a kook for even insinuating such a thing, but you must find it in
your heart to forgive me and respect my wild speculation as my opinion.
Thank you.
