It was like a 9-11 deja vu, when he sat in the classroom full of kids as if he knew darn well that this would happen.
Folks, if I'm wrong, the story is important.
If I'm right, get ready.

Some ominous points:
--Mexican firefighters have entered the country to 'help.'
--A caller to a local San Diego radio station said they were prevented from returning to their homes by officers with guns drawn.
--Residents still have not been allowed to return to the town of Ramona(pop 35,000) in north San Diego County that was evacuated two days ago, even
though the fires are now far away and the wind has died down.. They have now claimed that they are not letting people in because of no power and
contaminated water supplies, even though another caller heard from a friend still in town that power and water were available.

the enemies of the jews do the same to their homeland----we have the same type of people here ------that should be returned to their former countries
after they pay for the damage they cause or if their actions cause an innocent's death----they should pay life for life-----burning for burning.

This is without question the most paranoid thread I have ever read
If the Fox News people are a little rattled it might be because a couple of them lost their own homes, which they reported yesterday. One of them
actually watched his own home burn down.
Think for a moment how many people live in that area. There would be maybe hundreds of Pyromaniacs in that population. I doubt Terror has anything to
do with it. If you are that scared the Terrorists have won by the way. That is their goal.
The Santa Anna Winds are a fact of life there. When fires start and they blow this happens. SC is in a drought which makes it even worse. Add that to
the Mental Patients the Hospitals don't have rooms for and you have what you are seeing.
It is quite remarkable so few people have died or been injured. Not to mention how orderly it has all been. Kudos to the First Responders for their
excellent work under such bad conditions. I just listened to one of the National Guard people with Boots on the Ground. He says they had 100 mph gusts
last night. He was really pissed about Boxers lies blaming it on lack of equipment and was trying to give people the truth.
Another thing to consider is that Terrorists always take credit for what they do and they take credit within a day or so.
As to your Broadband problems. 4 to 6 PM is a peak time in Internet usage from Children getting on the net to discuss the latest gossip. According to
Consumer Reports, many Providers don't actually have the Bandwidth to cover the customers they have and during peak hours these problems arise. The
article also mentioned they hide this fact. We had the same thing here and finally after that article came out a couple of years ago they upgraded and
the trouble went away. You probably have the same issue.
A school would upgrade their phones when the Contractor was available which would be a weekday.
Get some sleep, drink less coffee or whatever, but I think you are worrying those of us reading this thread. This place can do that to many of us at
times. In real life everything is not a Conspiracy. People are not actually out to get us. Nobody really cares what we post here. Put in a good movie.
Have a little adult beverage. Forget the world for a bit. It will still be there later.

no doubt with a bigger population in california there is an equal number of wacko's running around that are committing crimes such as arson.i live in
a town of 10,000 yet even here we have 1 or more persons that periodically goes on an arson spree-----and just like them we have someone here that
murders the homosexuals and throws them in the river that flows thru the back of the town.this has gone on here for decades yet all gets hushed up and
we dont hear about it till a year after the fact in many cases-----and in addition lots of suicides happen and they are hushed up as well.its not that
i'm paranoid----here i find these things out from casual aquaintences and then ask others if they've heard this------usually they already know about
these things.

This thread has gotten me thinking. I feel my mind opening to the possibilities. This is in large part due to stompk.
Now, I will post this theory with caution, as FOX News may be watching me.
Beware, it's "out there". Here we go:
My thinking has led me to conclude this theory.
My theory is, this year, the western United States encountered a season called "Summer". Now, this season only occurs once a year, so for those who
don't know much about this so called "Summer", it is typically the time in which the weather is the hottest.
During "Summer", in the western United States, the amount of rain fall is slim to none.
Now, what I'm thinking is, what if the combination of heat and no rain made the trees and brush dry?
That isn't even the crazy part of my theory, so bear with me.
To add to this troubling turn of events, a phenomenon called the "Santa Ana Winds", which occurs in the season we typically call "Fall", or under
it's alias, "Autumn".
According to the calendar, we are in October. And according to how the seasons are set up, October is a part of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere. This
could just be a conspiracy between "Autumn" and the calendar, but we will assume it is not for the sake of my theory.
Now the tricky stuff comes in.
I believe that these so called "Santa Ana Winds" could have knocked down a power line, which typically has electricity that can start fires, and
given the close proximity between the dry brush and downed power lines, a fire was born.
This fire was then spread by these quite strong Santa Ana Winds to create a massive fire.
Wishing to concoct such a masterful conspiracy as "Mother Nature" did, arsonists then set out to start other fires, but to no avail, as they were
caught in the act.
Now, take my theory with a very large grain of salt. I know I will be looked at as a kook for even insinuating such a thing, but you must find it in
your heart to forgive me and respect my wild speculation as my opinion.
Thank you.

What you just attempted to do was called humor. What you actually did was called spin.
When you take several truths and line them up, you have sheeple nodding in agreance, then before they are able to detect what hit them you slide in to
the finish line with a lie. Now what would you rather agree with , one little lie or several little truths?
Arson.

I was merely making a point that labeling everything a damn conspiracy is just stupid. These fires happen EVERY YEAR! Santa Ana Winds happen EVERY
YEAR! Winds CAN and DO knock down power lines, and power lines CAN and DO start fires!
If you want to speculate as to if the powers that be will take advantage of this and declare martial law or try to spin it, then fine, do that. But to
run around in your tin foil hats speculating that the CIA/Al Qaeda/Mexican Terrorists/Reptilians/Aliens/ and whoever else set these fires, it's
really baseless, speculative, and doesn't get you anywhere.
I didn't attempt to read the whole thread word for word, so I don't know what your belief is on this. I don't know if you think this is just plain
arson, or if you think this is some government plot. But for those who think it's a government plot, PLEASE provide proof. I can guarantee you that
you have none.
I have no doubt that screwed up people have set fires during the last few days just for the hell of it. I'm pretty sure that's what has happened.
But the way I have understood this story for the last few days, a downed power line started this fire because of the winds. That is a very plausible
story.
Not every story has to have some dark spooky twist to it. Some stories actually can be simple and to the point, believe it or not.

Agreed on some of your speculation about the possible causes of the fires. But give the conspiracy buffs their day as well, they will be the ones to
keep this in check. It does not matter what I believe was the start of 'this' fire because I believe that 'this' fire started many years ago.
Peace.

Basic economic logic here folks.
People are in debt up to their ears on mortgages, so they here a story about a man burning his home, maybe to get insurance, stop mortgage payments,
or maybe he is just a pyro, but they moral is financial institutions, lender, insurance companies don't want a bunch of copy cat's trying to do the
same.
Real simple, whether the story is true or not the ending is, you do, you die.
Think about it.

Fair enough
I just think it's a little ridiculous some of the things people come up with.
I think it's ridiculous that FOX News is even mentioning Al Qaeda as well.
So yeah, given that, I really have nothing to add to this thread other than my opinion, and my opinion is that these fires weren't started as a
result of some government plot, and I feel bad for those that have been affected by these fires, and I hope that their lives are restored to the way
they were very quickly.

Let’s not bash up the News media all too much right now. Remember, they did break the stories initially about the man arrested and the other man who
was shot. Did they retract, yes, but there may be very serious and important reasons s to why they did this.
You have to remember that the FBI report stated possible terrorism in setting fires. This changes everything. If the cops catch someone committing
arson and it is possible that he is part of a larger terrorist cell network then it makes all good sense not to cover the story until the entire cell
can be discovered. This can take days my friends because any information must then be back checked against loads of other data on possible terrorist
activities all around the globe.
You do want then to try and catch everyone who may have been responsible for this don’t you? You do want them to be quiet about things until they
can discover some kind of greater plot don’t you?
It is important not just for the safety of those in California but for everyone in America because if a terrorist cell had set these fires then they
would have been smart to link these activities to other possible plans in other parts of the country. They know that our fire fighting assets are
limited. Do you really want another cell in some other state to start lighting fires over there too?
For all we know, smart law enforcement cooperation has led to the capture of an entire cell in some other state right now. All possible because the
news media hushed the story in time before someone connected to the California events got wind of it.
Be patient, give them time. Remember, they did report these incidents at first. It is not only smart to wait for now, but most likely it is what is
best for all of us if this really is terrorist connected.
