Dollar Rallies After Morning of Lows

NEW YORK (AP) -- The dollar recouped most of its losses Monday after falling to a new all-time low against the euro and a six-week low against the yen. The Canadian dollar gave up almost 2 percent of its value after hitting Friday's 33-year high.

The 13-nation euro rose as high as $1.4348 in Asian trading, breaking a Friday's record of $1.4319, before settling back to $1.4157 in late afternoon trading in New York. That was less than the $1.4296 it bought in New York late Friday.
