Taken from the WeAreChange article here:

The NY post has an article today regarding the recent Family Research Council's Straw Poll. The focus of the article was on the terrible results achieved by Rudy Guiliani. The article includes a list of the results, and neglects to include Ron Paul's 3rd place finish, as if he was not even there! Here is a image of the table as it appears in the hardcopy of today's NY Post:

Here are the official results directly from Family Research Council's website: Linkage.

Everyone write to the NY Post and let them know we will no longer tolerate the memory-holing and censorship of RON PAUL. Here is the address to do so:

[email protected]

Ive actually written them a mail myself because I get so annoyed at the censorship going on, and im not even a US citizen. I think you guys should do so too. Give them hell for their censoring and let them know how you feel about it.

Wow, I was outraged when I read this and now I have also written an e-mail to the nypost. This is the kind of censorship that makes me believe that the president of the united states is not voted in by the people but chosen and appointed by some other umbrella group (Illuminati, NWO, or something). Also, I encourage everyone that cares about this to also write the nypost and express your outrage!!

I, too wrote them a letter:

To The NY Post.
How come you left out Dr. Ron Paul in your 2008 straw poll resuslts?

He clearly is stated as the guy with the 3rd most votes, he got more than 50% more than Fred Thompson.

What did you do that for? Why would you leave him out? Personally, i think that this is very dishonest and misinformation. How come the american people are not allowed to know that this guy clearly has a chance in the elections?

Sincerly yours, Rasmus Berg

Add me to the 'sent-an-email' list. Everytime I hear about one of these incidents I write an email. Here's today's to the Post:

You guys all boarded the same bus as CNBC when they went to turn in their open and fair reporting credentials, eh? You can imagine how interesting it is to a great many of us to see your results for the Family Research Council straw poll. Yet another “respected” news outlet willfully skewing the news to hide Ron Paul. Some day this is all going to come out. You guys can’t keep doing this indefinitely. Sooner or later the cat will get out of the bag and you and your cohorts will be tossed on the heap of inconsequential media.

What are you afraid of? Who has gotten to you? Does this bother you at all --- that you and your mainstream media colleagues are engaged in such open censorship and selective editing of the news? Have you no sense of public obligation to tell the truth? If this country slides down the rat hole because people with an obligation to publish the truth willfully failed to do so, what will you tell your children? What will you tell yourselves?

Shame on you. Shame on all of you.

Let me know if any of you get any replies...I havent, and I dont expect to get one either. I dont know why they choose to censor Ron Paul, but its clear that they did it intentionally and that they have a active agenda of suppressing news about him to keep people in the dark.

Guess who owns the New York Post? Same guy who owns Fox News...Robert Murdoch.

There are a couple of sources running a story on this, like for example this one:

Even though Jeffersonian conservative presidential candidate Ron Paul has declared the media blackout of his candidacy is over, don't tell that to the editors of the New York Post.

The "conservative" paper owned by Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, has managed the feat of covering the Family Research Council's recent "Values Voter" presidential debate, and ranking candidates according to their popularity with "values voters" without mentioning third-place finisher GOP presidential contender Ron Paul (R-Tex).

Before you turn this into some right wing conspiracy, you might want to think it the whole way out. What I see happening if Ron Paul is "buried from public view" like this is that somebody else is going to win the nomination and he'll end up a 3rd party candidate. If this happens, the republican votes will get split and the democrat candidate will win. If anything, this is a media wide conspiracy to force him to go 3rd party.

There is no right and left. That is just pure illusion - the propoganda machine. The right and left are hand-picked puppets and follow the same global agenda either way. It's the same everywhere (look and France and England - same lousy choices over and over again!).

Ron Paul... he seems to be an original "spark". And that is why TPTB won't let him win. But it doesn't matter. All that matters is that people vote with their conscience and stop playing the political merry-go-round that leads to voting for the "lesser of two evils" which has become the norm. All Ron Paul supporters can do is give it all their energy, know they tried, and show the world that there is a new trend going on based on integrity. that is already a very BIG step. TPTB don't even want people to see this trend.

so i say, vote your conscience and give it all your energy and it won't be wasted in the end!

Click this link, and give em hell.

www.nypost.com...

Or open your email client and paste this in:
[email protected]/

I'm next in line!
This is unconscionable!
Those f#@king hacks deserve wide exposure of their corruption. Just proves why NO-ONE needs to pay attention to the MSM anymore. It's all rigged. Proven.
Thanks so much Copernicus!

This might be good news, but if you look further down, RP is not too far away from Hitlary:

Released: October 20, 2007
Zogby Poll: Half Say They Would Never Vote for Hillary Clinton for President

Other top tier candidates in both parties win more acceptance; Richardson & Huckabee favored most...

zogby.com...

edit to add:
I just sent the Washington times an email citing the censorship and very pointedly asked them to do a story on it.
Will forward it to nypostal.
Please do the same people. They will start to become concerned when they are exposed to other media. Emails, they will just delete.

Im not trying to turn it either left or right... im not a US citizen so I cant even vote. Just telling people who owns Fox News and NY Post and many other "credible" news sources so they can see just exactly how credible these sources are... its just biased propaganda, since Murdoch is a neocon warmonger who wont let other views come to light in his media.

And yes, im sure other media is biased in their own way, but so far I havent seen any other presidential candidate censored like this, have you?

I agree, its a good idea. It most certainly sounds like a good article to run for the competitor to Washington Post, since the WP seems to be owned by Murdoch as well.

The Washington Post is nothing more than a mouthpiece for socialists.
I have rarely seen a balanced politcal piece from them, if ever.
That is why I forwarded your excellent links on to the Washington Times.

Expose the lies is all we can do.

I doubt seriously that the nypostal will read or act on our emails to them.
They might react, however, if their lack of credibility is exposed.
Watch the Washington Times in the next few days to see if they run your excellent discovery.
And again, thanks for trying to keep the system honest.
Credit goes to you if they do!

Bravo!

I am stunned at how blatant this is.
There needs to be some serious activism with regards
to the 'suppress Ron Paul' effort.

Guys and gals. You need to remember who owns the post and then you you will understand why RP was taken out..

I would hope that people would be able to add up a few numbers in thier head and realise that almost 30% of the votes aren't reported in the poll.

So, i hope the people of NY can add... is my trust misplaced...

I am not surprised that some newspaper censored a poll, and not the first poll i have seen censored.

I didnt create this thread so I could understand why it happened. I already understand too well whats going on. I just wanted to spread the message so others could understand as well.

There is a lot of talk about how cover ups would be impossible since the media would report it. Well, maybe things like this can make those people wake up and smell the coffee. The media in the US is ruled by private citizens with an agenda.

Im not saying its any worse or better than having media owned by the state. I know that in Russia, the TV is owned by the state and very controlled because of it. So it doesnt really make any difference. If people in power want to control the media, they will find a way.

It isn't about controlling the media at all, its about using the media to control you, and it's been that way since the first printing press started cranking pages out.
Now that coporate consolidation has wormed its way into the last bastions of independent media, that control, at least of public opinion, is total. Ever wonder why sports and weather are sponsored by so and so, yet all the other news is just a freebie to keep people informed... yeah right. If you see something on the news, whatever it is, it's time to start asking important questions, like Cui Bono?
I'll give you an example. I used to work at a major supermarket chain as a stocker many years ago and I remember one time the produce guys were complaining about how the warehouse had forced out a bunch of Clementines to them. Apparently nobody buys them around here. Didn't think anything about it until the next day then the local news came on and lo and behold, during their regular little health segment they do, a local doctor was standing there telling us about the new health craze associtated with eating clementines, and how in vitamin c they were, and on and on. It was being presented as news.
After that I started checking up on nearly everything I saw on the local news here, and sure enough, with the exception of criminal reports (even some of them were questionable), nearly every single time I could trace the news pieces to some local hobnobbery going on.

What the hell is 'news' really? Think about it.

Well yes, thats what I meant. They control the media so they can use it to control public opinion. I think the US have it the worst. The corporations control the media and use it not only for political influencing but also for making people buy things they dont need.

I wrote to NY Post, too. I cc'd Ron Paul campaign, but they are wildly understaffed, and all my previous emails to them have largely been unanswered. I was hoping the subject in the email might get their attention. But I am sure they must know about it, right?

We need to email this info to other news agencies that did report it. Try and get some exposure on this.
