That is great!!

What is the catalyst for this spike in new members?

Could it have been the Springer appearance on Alien Hot Spots?

Whoot to the max! People are finally waking up and look for the truth! I didn't see Springer on TV I asume that he mentioned ATS. So yeah, way to go ATS!!!

I noticed that too. Maybe there was a glitch in there somewhere because the 3 prior weeks only garnered 270. The numbers don't seem right in comparison. If it's right, that's a heck of a spike.

Or could it be the new button scheme at the top of the page now? It is two days old, after all. SO says that the stats are pointing towards that being the main reason that more people are showing up.

In any case, I'm happy if he's happy.

Yeah, that is great. But I wonder how many of those 2,000 are actually going to post and come back? Hopefully many of them.

...a couple cool features at ATS, from a fairly new member myself:

1. "recent posts" tab about the top middle of your screen for all topics
in ATS throughout the day. Sorta like a "newswire" forum.

2. Back catalog of specific topics, ie: NWO, Aliens/UFO, Fragile Earth,
S11, Science, Paranormal and Space Exploration have THOUSANDS of
posts dating back years -- there's an enormous amount of info, wealthy
info at that, within this place.... I've been on a personal homework assignment
going through some of those.

3. Be aware of the rules, the points system, try not insulting/offensive personal attacks. Don't worry about spelling so some new posters feel free to post at will. Also, check how easy it is to post articles/threads and contribute often!

-U2U is an email system, great one at that
-ALERT is if someone should be warned of an offensive post
-REPLY TO will grab the name/hyperlink of the post in reference
-QUOTE will obviously quote that person's post
-top of each thread page is a FLAG feature for easy access in your "myATS" for easy reference of a thread you like

What else? Kind of going blank on this page?

-oh, to "star" a post, just click on the star to call attention (?) to a specific post
-and a favorite feature which sort of works like flagging too (?)

-and the EDIT feature, which I just used!

That's a lot of potential U-GC!

Looks like the ad-campaign is working, and working well.

Another reason for the membership spike is the Coast to Coast AM advertisement with George Noorey. That ad has got to cost mucho dinero as that program is numero uno in that time slot. Just the kind of people that would be interested in ATS information, subjects and just plain good ole fashion fun.

Is it against the T&C to suggest organizing an advertising blitz across the Internet by posting links to ATS everywhere?

I've been plugging ATS at the Dennys I go to in Cleveland. LOL, leave my commission at the door. This is great for a superior forum for higher thinking that I have become very attached to. I am proud to be a member of ATS and have benefited greatly from the knowledge and comraderie. You go ATS.
