it appears that stock market is crashing. the dow is down more than 300 points. does anyone know why this is happening today because i haven't been watching the news today to find out.

less than stellar reporting from 3M, Honeywell, Caterpillar etc.


a dip was somewhat expected.

do you think that monday will be a HUGE fall too? I think people are getting scared and will start pulling out.

If anyone knows the answer please answer this... The biggest stock market crash was around 1914 or something like that yet the great depression didn't start till the 30s. Was there another crash that caused the 30s depression or was it something else? Also, in the 80s we had another crash. Why didn't it cause a great depression to? I'm confused. :bnghd:
